It's fair to say that Hailey Bieber's 28th birthday had us in a spin all weekend. First, there was the sexy party outfit. A black coat with fluffy collar and cuffs – and ‘tini’ shorts that proved the ‘no pants’ trend is still live and kicking – was the perfect way to nod to the cocktail theme of her celebrations.
Then there was the manicure, which gave a nod to both the frosting on her birthday cake and the martinis she was celebrating with. Put simply, it was like a beauty buff's spin on method dressing.
This is Hailey Bieber after all, the woman who launched a thousand glazed donut manicures (at least) and even made glow-in-dark green nails cool. So of course she themed her nails to the neon martini bar sign she featured on her Instagram.

Hailey's carousel of pictures shows her partaking in various martinis off the cocktail menu. In one she can be seen sipping an espresso martini – a colour way Hailey famously popularised for her neutral makeup.
And you're about to see them everywhere.
Fittingly, she shared a tutorial of her party makeup look on the Rhode Instagram account, namechecking the Pocket Blush shades ‘Freckle’ and ‘Toasted Teddy’ for her terracotta flush and Rhode's new Peptide Lip Tint in Cinnamon Roll for her high-shine pout.

An espresso-coloured cat-eye flick completed the look while the front sections of her poker-straight hair were twisted and pinned away from her face.
Another picture shows a close up of her nails wrapped around the glass of an extra dirty martini. Designed by her long-time manicurist Zola Ganzorigt, each nail was painted a frosty pale blue – to capture the drink's cloudiness – and featured a tiny stuffed olive garnish.
Since posting an image of the finished look on her Instagram, Zola has been inundated with comments calling it “cute” and “adorable”, with one follower even begging her, “Please give us a tutorial or share colours – please please, I love this colour!!”
We echo that plea, as surely a manicure to match your go-to cocktail is now on everyone's bingo card for party season.
