H&M’s Vetements-inspired jeans are too good to be true

Today we give thanks to the great British high street, specifically H&M, who have created a pair of jeans that are a tribute to Vetements' sell-out style.

The label's cropped straight leg, cropped design with jagged frayed hem were seen on the most stylish (and wealthy - they cost £800) FROWers last season and have become such hot property they are now sold out. Step forward H&M who have launched their own take made in washed denim. The uneven raw-edge hem is still there, as is the front seam panel-effect. So far, so Vetements, but they cost £40.

The jeans have been so popular they've already sold out online, but we're told they're still available in stores and that a second drop will launch on online soon.

Considering one of Vetements' USPs is reappropriating other brands - from DHL to Champion - we think/hope this is taken more as a compliment than anything else.
