You can always trust Gucci to bring the fun to fashion. Season upon season we're cheered by their bright, maximalist and wonderfully exuberant runways shows, fleeting though they are. Well now, you can bring that Gucci-stamped fun into your home life permanently: the brand are launching home decor.
Gucci Décor, designed by Alessandro Michele, contains (now familiar) motifs from his catwalks. Tigers, snakes, dogs, cats and bees decorate cushions bordered with tassels, 'vanity' seats with upholstery and wicker chairs. There's even Victorian-inspired room screens decorated with floral and geometric prints.
Smaller items include crockery, plant pots and multi-purpose metal trays with brightly decorated tops - should your budget not stretch to sofas and tables.
Michele has even carefully created four scents - both coming in candles and incense - designed to compliment the rest of the collection.
We're told the collection starts from £150 (that's for a candle) though we imagine the larger items cost enough to make your eyes water (the screens cost £23,000). A single wall covered in silk Gucci wallpaper, perhaps? It's on our Christmas list...
