Get excited folks, this year's Great British Bake Off is set to hit screens... and pictures of the new contestants have been released.
Yes, that's right, everyone's favourite baking show is back on TV next week, and this year we predict more cake drama, soggy bottoms and quick quips from our beloved Mary Berry.
Starting on 5 August on BBC one, contestants this year will include a bodybuilder, a prison governor, a firefighter and a 19-year-old student.
Judge Mary Berry spoke out in the new issue of Radio Times, and said challenges this year will not be too difficult: "My aim is not to get too complicated... the simpler it is, the better, so that viewers can get the hang of it too."
Fellow judge Paul Hollywood also commented that some of the baking contestants were "almost professional when they walk in. But most of them are just bloody good amateurs who, with a bit of training, could probably earn money from it, which is what they go on to do. Crucially they're not formally trained, they learnt in their own kitchen".
