That's another Glastonbury done and dusted. We're all nursing hangovers, treating swollen feet, and washing off a few days of grime, alongside constant reminiscing in our Glasto WhatsApp chat and asking each other the question, who will headline Glastonbury 2027?
Yes, we're all daydreaming about our next trip to Worthy Farm, but sadly, 2026 is a fallow year, which means we'll have to wait until 2027 before we can get back to Glasto. After all, those fields need a little break.
Until then, we'll all be speculating about which music acts might win the three coveted headliner spots. Naturally, the bookies already have some ideas.
This year's Glastonbury takes on a particular poignancy and hype due to next year's fallow year.

Based on previous years, what we do know is that there will likely be a good variety between the three acts. There's always something for everyone. In other words, we probably won't see three millennial-approved pop acts all headlining in one year.
This year, for instance, we had The 1975, a millennial-favoured indie rock band, Neil Young, an iconic folk singer, and Olivia Rodrigo, an up-and-coming Gen Zer.
The year before followed a similar pattern with Coldplay, Dua Lipa, and Sza taking to the stage. The year before that was Arctic Monkeys, Guns N' Roses, and Elton John and the year before was Billie Eilish, Paul McCartney, and Kendrick Lamar. Make of that what you will.
When will we find out who is headlining Glastonbury 2027?
Sadly, we'll probably be waiting a while. The line-up is usually announced in the months leading up to the festival, with the headliners being announced between March and May. This means we're probably looking at a March 2027 announcement. So stay tuned.
