The full trailer for Mad Max: Fury Road is here and it looks like the guilty, adrenaline-pumping summer blockbuster we've been waiting for.

Three decades after the last film in the franchise, Tom Hardy replaces Mel Gibson in the lead role, while a bald Charlize Theron plays Furiosa, a woman who wants to cross the post-Apocalyptic desert. Set in the future, Max fights off angry gang fighters, who, incidentally, wear similar masks to Hardy as Bane in Batman (maybe it's a requisite of all his films). Rosie Huntington-Whiteley is seen as a slave maiden, occasionally hanging off the end of a moving vehicle.

The trailer informs us that there will be plenty of action fight scenes, sand explosions and fast car chases over the desert. The CGI looks as if it'll help, rather unnecessarily inflate dramatic scenes.

Mad Max - out on 14 May - looks intense. Bring it on.

WOW. There's a new trailer out for Mad Max: Fury Road - and it's pretty epic. The action film tells the tale of people struggling in a post-apocalyptic world and fighting for the necessities of life in a desolate landscape - and it looks like it's going to be one we really can't miss. Here's why...

There's more action than all the fast car, shoot-out films you've watched in the last ten years...

Remember how hot Rosie Huntington-Whiteley looked in Transformers: Dark Side of the Moon? We do - and it will only be another year till we see her hit the big screen again, as she's starring in Mad Max: Fury Road alongside Charlize Theron, Tom Hardy, Nicholas Hoult and many, many more.

The first look trailer for the fourth film in George Miller's Road Warrior/Mad Max franchise looks pretty epic - there's stark desert, crazy special effects and a whole host of Hollywood A-list actors to look forward to.

The movie is set in a post-apocalyptic world, where people must fight for the necessities of life in a desolate landscape.

Tom plays Max, a man seeking peace of mind after losing his family, Charliza plays Furiosa, a woman trying to make it across the desert to her childhood home, and Rosie is joined by Abbey Lee Kershaw, Courtney Eaton, Zoe Kravitz and Riley Keough as one of the "Five Wives" Max must transport safely across the wasteland of the desert.

The trailer alone is pretty gripping - take a look here.
