Example - whose real name is Elliot Gleave - has taken to Twitter to reveal that his wife, Australian TV presenter Erin McNaught, is expecting their first child.
Alongside an image of her showing off her baby bump in a coral coloured bikini, she wrote: "So @example and I have been working on a secret project lately and thought it was about time we told you all!"
The rapper - who confessed earlier this year that being married had made him a "different person" because he isn't cool anymore - previously revealed he'd lined up as many gigs for this year as possible because he and Erin wanted to start trying for a baby.
Example said at the time: "This year's going to be crazy because I said to my manager at the end of last year, and my agent, just fill up this year with gigs because I know Erin's going to want kids soon."
The 32-year-old star will likely be by Erin's side when she gives birth to their son or daughter as he confessed that was why he was planning on taking a break from touring after this year.
He added: "I figured I don't want to be abroad whilst ... I don't wanna miss the birth of a child, you know..."
