Rihanna, Brie Larson, and Charlize Theron all sat front row at the Dior Cruise show - complete with Dior blankets to keep them warm in the remote and dusty location.
Dior brought the runway to the hills of Calabasas - at the Upper Las Virgenes Open Space Preserve. Shuttles ferried guests back and forth to watch the show, which was a big one because the artistic director Maria Grazia Chiuri presented her first cruise collection for the fashion house.
The event - dubbed "Diorchella" - was set in tents and saw 800 guests enjoy the western-worthy backdrop.
“We normally show in the city, in Paris or Rome, but to give the experience of an open space is a good moment,” Grazia Chiuri told The Hollywood Reporter ahead of the show.
After guests arrived by shuttle, they were transported in golf carts up a one-lane track, past a "Dior Sauvage" sign (cue Insta stop!) and saw two hot air balloons set against the dramatic painted hills.
Before the start of the show, guests were seated on cushions and had blankets to keep warm.
Western hats, natural hair, pretty dresses, A-line midi skirts and earthy tones were the biggest talking points from the catwalk.
