Joshua Jackson has confirmed that he is back in touch with ex-girlfriend Katie Holmes following her split from Tom Cruise earlier this year.
The Dawson's Creek co-stars, who dated during the first season of the show in 1998, are thought to have rekindled their friendship.
Jackson, currently dating actress Diane Kruger, told George Stroumboulopoulos Tonight: "Like any old friend, it was like, 'Oh, hi how are ya? What's going on?' 'I had a kid.' 'Yeah, that's crazy, I heard!'"
