First it was the adidas Sambas and then came the Gazelles. Truly, adidas have been on a roll for a long time and while we thought we'd never see the day we'd be swapping out our Sambas for another shoe, Dakota Johnson is making a compelling case for us to do just that.

The adidas Handball Spezial in off white. Moving away from the bright Sambas and more muted Gazelle colourways that we've seen everywhere over the past year, the Handball Spezial is an easy staple shoe to integrate into any wardrobe and a timeless classic.
Spearheading the next adidas trend on the horizon is Dakota Johnson. The actor was spotted in New York wearing a cool girl off-duty look to attend filming for SNL (Saturday Night Live) which she's due to host on the 27 January.

Wearing a mint green jumper, straight leg light wash jeans and a sleek dark grey coat, the actor rounded off the look with adidas Handball Spezial trainers.
Right now this trend is very much in its early beginnings, but we predict this to takeover from the Sambas and Gazelles in the coming months, so get ahead of the game and treat yourself to a new pair of these must-have trainers before you inevitably start seeing them everywhere.
