Last night it was the 2014 Critics' Choice Television Awards and the big winners of the night were Matthew McConaughey, the Netflix comedy-drama Orange Is The New Black and the FX series Fargo.
Matthew McConaughey - who already picked up an Oscar, Screen Actors Guild and Golden Globe awards this year - was named Best Actor in a Drama Series for his work on True Detective.
In his speech, the Dallas Buyers Club actor paid tribute to the great work being done on the small screen.
He said: "Television is raising the bar for character-driven drama."
Other notable winners on the night included Orange Is The New Black, Breaking Bad, and Glee creator Ryan Murphy, who was honoured with the Louis XIII Genius Award, and used his acceptance speech to read out a number of negative tweets about himself - which he promptly agreed with, much to the amusement of the audience at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.
