Us Brits love a G&T, don't we? So it's not surprising that UK gin sales have doubled in value over the last six years. But while you're cheers-ing your gal pals on a hot day, wouldn't it be delightful if your tipple of choice had some beauty benefits too?

Enter: CollaGin.

Created by Camilla Brown and Liz Beswick to combine their love of beauty and booze, the smooth drink has a little surprise - the addition of collagen.

Camilla said: “This really is the smoothest gin I have ever tasted and works so well in many different ways.

“We've used complementary botanicals and a dose of pure, powdered collagen to create a surprise and delight product that gets people talking, which it definitely has.”

But wouldn't collagen make it taste weird? Apparently not - the spirit is fragrant, with a unique blend of juniper, cardamom, star anise, pink grapefruit and angelica root alongside the collagen.

Marine collagen is proven to hydrate your skin, alongside botanicals that have an anti-ageing qualities like witch hazel, green tea and grapefruit. It doesn't however, claim to be an anti-ageing gin - it is alcohol, after all - and it isn't suitable for vegetarians.

Our office can't wait to put it to the test! Do you know a beauty lover who also rather enjoys a G&T?
