5 festival looks we need from New York Fashion Week

As everyone knows, Coachella is the most stylish of the music festivals, largely thanks to its sunny weather. There's no risk of getting covered in mud in the desert, so it's an opportunity to wear your designer gear without looking daft.

Step forward Rodarte and Coach, who rose to the festival fashion challenge for spring/summer 2016 at New York Fashion Week. At Rodarte, sisters Laura and Kate Mulleavy stayed true to their dreamy sensibility and delivered more of the 70s revival we've seen so much of over the past few months - pretty lace dresses, shaggy jackets and skinny groupie scarves - while at Coach, creative director Stuart Vevers focused on prairie girl chic. Think drop-waisted pretty printed dress, floral jackets, patchwork leathers and pussy bow blouses.
