Chanel caused a media storm last year when they announced that Brad Pitt was to be the new face of Chanel No5, becoming the first ever male to front the campaign.
This year's face takes the brand in a slightly different direction - the past.
Marilyn Monroe is to front this season's Chanel No5 campaign for print and television.

you wear to bed? So I said I only wear CHANEL N°5."

the brand's last few campaigns, which have featured modern
Hollywood faces.
