Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins is back on our screens just in time to fill the Love Island hole in our hearts, and it's shaping up to be a promising season.
A Channel 4 reality TV show in which celebrities undergo intense military training, the series strips contestants of all of their home comforts and sees them faced with a two-week training course that takes inspiration from the real United Kingdom Special Forces selection course. No small feat, to say the least.
The drama! The excitement! The thrills! The unlikely recruits!
With the Celebrity SAS cast featuring everyone from a former Drag Race contestant to iconic Love Islanders and some prolific public figures, it's safe to say that there's something for everyone in this year's 2025 Celebrity SAS line-up.
And frankly, there's nothing quite as fun as watching celebs take on challenges usual reserved for the Special Forces. Read on to meet the contestants heading to Wales for the competition.
Who is on Celebrity SAS: Who Dares to Win? Meet the Celebrity SAS line-up
Bimini
Age: 32
Job: Drag artist and DJ
Instagram: @biminibabes
Drag queen Bimini Bon-Boulash was a favourite in season 2 of RuPaul's Drag Race UK who placed in second. We all remember their iconic rap verse in 'UK Hun', but since then Bimini has gone on to DJ and host their own podcast The Pieces with Bimini.
In an interview before the first task on Celebrity SAS, the former Drag Race UK star said the show would be “a piece of piss” having grown up as a queer person in Norfolk.
“I wanted a challenge, and I thought, when the opportunity came, how many times am I going to get asked to do that? I like to prove to myself what I can do mentally in my own body or my own head. I love the idea of what people think I could do. I turned up in a pink tracksuit and I think even the DS underestimated me. I love surprising people.”
Age: 56
Job: TV personality
Instagram: @louiespence
A dancer, choreographer and presenter, Spence spent his early career performing on stage on the West End in countless iconic musicals. More recently, he found fame with the TV show Pineapple Dance Studios. What are they gonna do? Arrest him?
On his decision to join Celebrity SAS, Louie said “I was feeling really mentally strong, and I thought it'd be a great challenge. So really, it was just a thing to challenge myself mentally,”
He added, "I’ve watched the show before, I’ve dipped in and out, and like most people, when I’ve watched it, you think you can do it. But it's different when you get there!"
Tasha Ghouri
Age: 25
Job: TV personality
Instagram: @tashaghouri
Tash Ghouri rose to fame in 2022 after participating in Love Island where she became the first islander to raise awareness about deafness, having gone on to promote disability inclusion. Since then, Tash has also gone on to compete in Strictly Come Dancing 2024 where she made her way to the finals.
On her motivation for joining the Celebrity SAS cast, Ghouri said "I'll be doing this for the people who have doubted me. I want prove to them that they can't bring me down. I can fight my way to the end.”
“I'm very excited to actually take on the course and just go for it, push myself and really challenge myself. But I also want to show people that having a disability makes you no less able - we can also push ourselves, and do crazy challenges if we put our mind to it."
The importance of representation cannot be overstated.

Adam Collard
Age: 28
Job: TV personality
Instagram: @adamcollard
You probably remember Adam, a fitness coach, from the 2018 and 2022 seasons of Love Island where he appeared as a bombshell before going on to star in Celebs Go Dating in 2023. Beyond his TV appearances, though, Adam now works as a fitness coach.
On joining Celebrity SAS he said “I've done reality TV in terms of dating shows, and as someone who is in the fitness industry and likes physical challenges, I’ve taken part in all these sort of physical endeavours. So this has been the dream.”
He explained, “Funnily enough, I always said I wouldn't even do the celebrity version, I would have done the civilian version. It was kind of a dream for me.”
“I'll be honest, I've watched more SAS: Who Dares Wins than I have Love Island or Celebs Go Dating, and I've been on both of those. I genuinely am a fan of it. I just love it.”
Chloe Burrows
Age: 29
Job: TV personality
Instagram: @chloeburrows
Chloe is another Love Island alum who went on to appear on Scared of the Dark and Celebs Go Dating before launching her podcast Chloe vs The World.
“I've always loved competitive things like sports. I consider myself, normally, quite a mentally strong person, so I actually just wanted to see how far I could go," Chloe says on her choice to join the Celebrity SAS cast.
“I honestly just wanted to test myself. I feel like when you go on Love Island, people kind of put you in a little box. So I wanted to kind of prove to everyone that I can do it and say, 'Look at Georgia Harrison. I can do the same thing!'”
Her documentary, Love In The Wild, sees her try out different types of IRL dating, in the face of app fatigue hitting us all.

Hannah Spearritt
Age: 43
Job: Singer and actress
Instagram: @hannahspearritt
Yes, millennials, that's Hannah from S Club 7! You might also recognise her from Primeval, Casualty and EastEnders.
On joining the Celebrity SAS line-up, Hannah said “However the experience goes, I am going to learn about myself. Maybe I’ll find out I am a bit of a mess or I might find out that I’m stronger than I think I am…it’s finding out things about yourself that you would never, ever find out.”
“We live in this world where it’s so easy to live in our comfort zone, so this is an opportunity to get outside of that and…for me anyway, growth and expansion is one of the most important things, and that is something that hopefully I can pass on to my kids.”
Unfortunately, Hannah made the decision to withdraw from the competition, so you won't be seeing much of her past the first episode of Celebrity SAS!
Rebecca Loos
Age: 46
Job: Yoga teacher
Instagram: @rebeccaloosofficial
Rebecca Loos is a yoga teacher who, in 2004, claimed that she had had an affair with David Beckham while working as his assistant. Beckham always denied her claims, calling them “ludicrous”.
Since then Loos has done TV and modelling work while continuing to teach yoga, wellness and meditation classes.
Rebecca said “I honestly don’t know whether I am mentally strong enough but one of the reasons I want to do this course is because I want to find out whether I’m able to stick it through mentally.”
She added, “I think it’s going to be really, really tough. This is by far the toughest thing I’ve ever done. But I want to do this course because it’s a once in a lifetime opportunity to do an SAS training course. It’s going to be really interesting to see how far I can go and how strong I’m able to keep myself.”

On her choice to join the Celebrity SAS cast, Lady Leshurr said “I was in a point in my life where I'm getting older and I don't want to get too old when my joints aren't working and I can't run too good. So I thought this was the best time for me to go on the show and just develop myself and become the best version of myself.”

On her decision to appear on the show, Michaella said during an appearance on This Morning, "I did that show for myself…not to make people like me."
She explained, "I didn’t like it. It was super long. I just thought, ‘one more hour'. Mentally, I know it’s not real, even though it feels very real…it’s quite difficult, but that helped me to ease into the process.”
A controversial contestant.

Of Celebrity SAS, though, Harry Clark says “I think it was just one of these things where actually, for me, it was trying to do something that helped me find myself.”

Instagram: @lspraggan
Singer-songwriter Lucy Spraggan appeared on the 2012 season of The X Factor, with her audition song immediately going viral at the time.
On her choice to join the Celebrity SAS cast, Lucy said “This is something genuinely you can go back and read about in my journals from two years ago, where I wrote about SAS: Who Dares Wins for years. I used to watch it avidly, both the celebrity and the civilian version. I was obsessed. I love seeing the extremes human beings can go through, it is quite incredible.”
Troy Deeney
Age: 35
Job: Former professional footballer
Instagram: @t_deeney
A former pro footballer, Troy Deeny was a striker for Watford FC who still holds the title of all-time top scorer for the club in the Premier League.
He says he's always “appreciated” the show and after feeling “a little bit lost” when it came to Celebrity SAS was keen to take on the challenge.
"I’m sure the DS will get me irritated very quickly but they will also know how to nurture and to reshape and probably help me along the way."
