The holidays are coming; we've had Romeo Beckham's Festive Video for Burberry, the John Lewis Christmas ad has been revealed, AND the red cups are out in force at Starbucks - it's time to get excited. And if that's not exciting enough for you, today, Topshop have revealed its new holiday campaign featuring the gorgeous Cara Delevingne.

Cara Delevingne's campaign for Topshop has landed. And while there's no news of a Kate Moss style clothing collection, it's still a landmark for the supermodel - who is the first to star solo in a fashion campaign for the iconic high street store.

Shot in London by renowned photographer Alasdair McLellan and styled by Topshop Creative Director Kate Phelan, Cara models key looks from the Autumn/Winter campaign, and also stars in a behind-the-scenes video where she reveals how she first met her pet rabbit Cecil.

Cara has had a long and varied relationship with Topshop, appearing in a Kate Moss campaign in 2010, walking in their UNIQUE runway shows (including one where she live-streamed the whole thing by carrying a Google cam in her handbag), and racking up an impressive 1.6 million youtube views by performing the Harlem Shake backstage. But will the clothing line we all want to happen be up next for these two fashion powerhouses?

In the campaign press release, Sir Philip Green did hint at the partnership progressing into a clothing collaboration - well, a tiny bit:

"It is fitting to have a fabulous, young British star such as Cara at the epicentre of our campaign. I am hopeful and confident that this will be the beginning of another strong relationship for TOPSHOP."

Fingers crossed! Until then, you'll have to be content with the (very pretty) campaign images.

The AW14 Collection lands in stores globally and online from August 2014. For more pics of Cara in the campaign, scroll down to the gallery below.

Cara Delevingne has well and truly established herself as the new Kate Moss - by bagging a role as the face of Topshop - and hopefully a clothing collaboration in the process.

According to British Vogue , Cara will be the face of the brand's autumn/winter 2014 campaign - and will be the first solo model to do so. Topshop have not commented on the appointment, or whether Cara will be turning her hand to designing.

After her stint creating a capsule collection for DKNY and bags for Mulberry, here's hoping they do decide to let Cara create some cool, tomboy-esque pieces - they'll be a guaranteed sell-out and just as covetable as Kate Moss's line for the high street store.
