Camila Cabello is shaking things up.
The Señorita singer has been lightening her signature deep brunette hair with caramel highlights since the summer, but has recently started introducing chunky honey-blonde highlights during her styling sessions. However, the former member of Fifth Harmony recently took things even further, opting for a dramatic wolf cut, à la TikTok 2021. Camila's hairstylist Dimitris Giannetos debuted the singer's new shag on Instagram in late November, writing, “#camilacabello looks fire in her new wolf cut.”

Giannetos styled the cut with choppy, tousled layers and heavily textured bangs for that indie sleaze vibe. In December, Cabello showed off the style on her own Instagram, wearing a Barbiecore pink suit to L'Oréal Paris' Women Of Worth Celebration at The Ebell Club of Los Angeles. After a couple of weeks, the grown-out fringe was clearly given the curtain bang treatment, courtesy of Giannetos.

The wolf cut had a serious moment on TikTok back in 2021, with the shag and mullet mashup becoming the go-to style for women all over the country, including Billie Eilish. The popular cut features lots of volume on the top, which tapers off at the bottom, and typically features heavy bangs. Despite the look's chill aesthetic, it can require a fair amount of effort to style. “Everyone wants a wolf cut until they realise… your hair will be flat unless you style it,” one TikTok user warned her followers back in 2021.
Luckily, Camila Cabello knows a guy.
