The eatery, open now, is named Thomas' after the Burberry founder and housed in the label's expansive Regent Street store in a split-level space.

The menu sounds rather tempting - serving all-British produce, from lobster and chips to scrambled egg and oysters. The interior has an Art Deco appeal, with lantern chandeliers, large windows and black and white marble floors.

The brand's chief creative and chief executive officer Christopher Bailey said he "wanted to create a space where our customers can spend time relaxing and enjoying the world of Burberry in a more social environment".

The area will also house a gifting space, where you buy a quick present for a lucky friend or family member after your meal. Among the gifts on offer, some of which can be personalised with a monogramming service, are home furnishing items, games, canvas tote bags with maps of London and stationery.

See you there at lunch.
