While Mary J. Blige performed some of her new material, the camera panned to Bruno who looked, well, practically asleep. Predictably the video has gone viral and overnight Bruno has come the meme of the BET Awards 2017.

Was he throwing shade? We highly doubt it. After all, Mary J. Blige is pretty legendary - perhaps Bruno just needs a good old vacay, hey?
