In celebration of 2016 being a leap year, Brides Magazine magazine helped 10 girls propose to their partners.
Under the guise of doing a "restaurant review" at The Savoy Hotel in London, the 9 boyfriends and one girlfriend enjoyed a swish dinner and were led to believe that The Savoy were filming them enjoying their meal.
The potential brides-to-be had spent the day at The Savoy, having hair and make-up done and being styled in dresses from David's Bridal (complete with fashion editors on hand with style advice).
During the evening the girlfriends then surprised/shocked their partners by proposing to them.
All 9 boyfriends and the one girlfriend said yes.
Couples came from all over the UK with one couple even coming from Austin Texas.
The (now confirmed) brides-to-be will be provided with a complimentary wedding dress from David's Bridal, and one lucky couple also won a honeymoon of a lifetime to Mauritius with flights and expenses paid.
