Buckle up, because Big Brother 2025 has officially hit our screens – let the drama begin! The 22nd series launched on ITV2 on Sunday 28th September, with hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best introducing 12 new housemates in front of those iconic raucous crowds. In a surprise twist, four more housemates joined the crew the following day.

This year's Big Brother contestants include a Zumba instructor, a Conservative political events advisor and a butler in the buff, amongst a gaggle of other personalities… so yes, it's about to get interesting. And surprisingly, it's the youngest ever line-up, with only two housemates over the age of 27 in the house.

The twists have come thick and fast though, since Big Brother announced on launch night that one contestant would be evicted immediately – we'll find out who on Monday night's show.

The Summer I Turned Pretty fans turned the finale into a community “spectator sport”. Because binge-watching (without your girls) is so 2024.

Hosts AJ and Will previously told the Lancashire Post that they wanted to see “all aspects of British society presented” in the 2025 series of the show, with AJ adding: “I want to see authenticity. I want people to go in there and be their authentic selves from day one. We never know what to expect, and that’s the exciting thing about it. I actually am going into it with no expectations other than I want to see a diverse group of housemates.”

Ahead, meet the Big Brother 2025 cast, and get ready for seven weeks of addictive TV.

Cameron B is a personal trainer from Bolton.

“I’d say the whole experience or the competition aspect – I love competition,” he said of what he was looking forward to. "But I think I'll just love being secluded, no phone, no contact with the outside world. I feel like it's pretty interesting – a once in a lifetime thing."

Feyisola, 33

Feyisola is a 33 financial investigator from London who is also a game show addict. She joins the house after several years of illness, ready to embrace life.

As for what she'll bring to the house, she said, "I will be cooking, for sure. I've got a lot of chaotic energy, it’s who I am. And I think I'm really good at tasks and quizzes and that sort of thing. So hopefully I'll be like the task master extraordinaire."

George, 23

George is a 23-year-old parish councellor who joined the show “to meet people from different walks of life and to get the opportunity to chew the fat with them.”

But he isn't there to make things easy for the other housemates. Instead, he claims he's there to “challenge people’s way of thinking.” And he isn't afraid to “ruffle feathers.”

Richard, 60

Richard is a composer and author from London who joined the show on a whim.

He doesn't have high hopes of winning. “I would have thought that most people who would watch this show are going to be at the younger end of things and are going to identify more closely with the younger housemates and more likely to vote for them,” he said. “But you just never know – it would be quite a coup if I did carry it off.”

Zelah, 25

Zelah is a transgender personal trainer from South London, who has openly shared his transition journey and training routines with his thousands of followers on TikTok.

He said of applying for the show: “I’m in this weird in-between where I’ve recently left the corporate world, with a bit of a looser schedule while I get qualified and build my business, so it felt like a ‘why not’ situation. I’m someone who doesn’t have much of a social battery that runs out, so I’m very intrigued to see how far that goes in the house. Also, being trans, I think that a lot of the media narrative at the moment is taken out of our hands, and it will be nice to re-centre that and retake control. Shows like Big Brother show the normality of people – you can’t get more personal than watching someone 24/7.”

Jenny, 20

Derry girl Jenny is a makeup artist who says she'll bring plenty of craic to the Big Brother house.

“I’ve been watching Big Brother for years, and I think it’s just a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. I had the opportunity to apply, and I just thought, ‘this could be a lot of fun’. And here I am!” she said.

“I think I will bring a lot of craic to the house. I think I will try my best to make everybody laugh and just be positive.”

Gani, 39

Originally from Chennai, India, Gani now lives in South London and manages a pizza shop. He says he would like to be “known by millions” after appearing on the show.

"I see this as an opportunity not only for my personal growth, but also to help build the future of my personal brand. And on a personal level, being without a phone will be an impressive psychological experiment — one that I believe will teach me even more about myself,” he said.

Teja, 18

At just 18, Teja is this year's youngest housemate – but don't underestimate her. She owns a cleaning business with her mum and is clearly full of drive.

“I applied for the cash prize mostly," she said of entering the Big Brother house. "And experience as well, but the money for sure. Winning that amount would be amazing. You’ve got to be in it to win it.”

She added: “I can speak to anyone – I’m very bubbly. I’m quite a good cook – not gourmet standards but I can feed people. I’m a cleaner so will be able to keep the house tidy. I’m very competitive and I’m good at games so I think I would be good at whatever tasks I’m faced with.”

Emily, 25

Political events advisor Emily is one of this year's talking-point Big Brother contestants, known for her strong Conservative opinions.

“I applied because I love doing things for the plot. I love a fun experience and meeting new people. And I guess this is just another crazy chapter in my very crazy life!” she said as she entered the house.

Cameron, 22

Another potentially political voice in the house is Cameron, a farmer from Taunton, Somerset – who was one of many young farmers who took part in the farming protests in London earlier this year.

He said: “I think I’ll be quite different from the housemates as I suspect there isn’t another sort of country bumpkin-esque figure and I’m quite looking forward to meeting new people. I think I’ll hopefully bring a bit of leadership to the house.”

Sam, 27

As an energetic Zumba instructor, we reckon Big Brother contestant Sam will bring the party vibes to the house.

He said: “I think I’ll bring a lot of fun to the house; I’ll definitely bring a lot of energy. I want to get people doing Zumba and morning yoga every day. I hope we can have little sing-alongs too. I think I’ll be good entertainment for all the housemates. I’m also a good listener; I cry at anything so I can empathise and think I’ll be a good friend to have in there.”

Tate, 27

Falkirk-based Tate runs his own business – the biggest Butler in the Buff company in Scotland, we'll have you know – but he says there's plenty more to him than serving drinks in the nude.

“Being part of the ‘buff butler’ stuff, you naturally fall into the role of an entertainer, getting folks chatting and mingling and maybe playing a couple daft games," he said. “It depends what everyone else is like. I’m very versatile – I can have quite deep and intellectual conversations, and I can also be a bit daft.”

Nancy, 22

Nancy is pretty impressive! Italian-born and living in Glasgow, she speaks five languages – and says she wants to travel the world and learn more. She says she'll bring a “fiery side” to the house.

"I’m very energetic, always talking, using my hands to talk and do things. I like to get up and dance and sing, I’m very up for that throughout the day. No matter what time it is. It could be as soon as I wake up, I will just always be a bundle of energy. So definitely [I'll bring] my energy, but also my cooking skills because, again, I’m Italian so why not? I’ll teach people how to cook!”

Caroline, 56

Caroline is a former celebrity PR with many stories to tell, no doubt. Despite being the oldest Big Brother cast member in the series (so far), she says she doubts she'll be the mum of the house because she's “too naughty”.

She says of entering the show: “I left my job to set up my own company and, in Yorkshire, there’s not that many celebrities, so I haven’t had much luck because I don’t live in London anymore. So, I went to the job centre and the woman looked at my CV and said, ‘You should do something on the telly. You should write a book. You should go on social media, do videos. You’re too good to sit in an office, you’ve got too much going for you’. I laughed it off but I went home and saw the advertisement for Big Brother. So, I just did the video and never thought anything of it. I went back to thinking, ‘what am I going to do in my life?’. And then I got the phone call, and it just went from there and now we’re here!”

Marcus, 22, is a mechanical engineer – and says he has a playful side.

“I bring energy, a lot of energy, and a lot of playfulness. I can also bring a little bit of stirring the pot from time to time," he admits.

Essex girl Elsa is a content creator, who says she'll bring “sunshine and laughter” to the Big Brother house.

She says she applied for the show on a whim. "I saw an advertisement to apply on TikTok, and I thought, ‘Okay, I’m just going to apply. Like, I’m just going to do it’. I feel like you’re only 21 once. And why not!”

Big Brother airs on ITV2 at 9pm from Sunday to Friday.
