Autumn 2024 is all about change. Following in the footsteps of Kendall Jenner and Victoria Beckham – who have both recently opted to change their hairstyles – is Beyoncé, who is officially back in her bob era.

While Beyoncé has opted for a blonde bob before, in true Cowboy Carter style, she's back with a pearly platinum iteration.

On 23 September, the singer posted a series of pictures on Instagram in which she is sporting a white-blonde, jaw-grazing cut. In the photos, the singer is holding a bottle of her whisky brand SirDavis.

Matching the ‘old-school country bob’ vibe is her cowboy hat and the Western-style backdrop, which appear to be from GQ's cover story.

Her bob is smoothly styled and voluminous, with the blunt ends neatly curled and tucked under (its uniform C-shape is almost reminiscent of a helmet or a mushroom bob).

Combined with the silver blonde hue, the bob manages to look old-school and futuristic at the same time - proof that this ever-trending hairstyle is constantly reinventing itself.

Even if it's likely that Beyoncé's bob is just a wig, it's such an eye-catching look, you can expect the trend to be all over our feeds in no time at all.

How to style Beyoncé's 'old-school country bob'

If you're looking to switch up your hair for the season ahead, what could be better than Beyoncé's bob hair cut? Super voluminous, short hairstyles are making their way back to our autumn mood boards and the good thing is, you can easily style her look at home with the right technique.

Simply blow-dry your wet hair with a round brush, curling the ends inwards. Repeat this process all over, then tousle the front sections of hair with your fingers to get as much volume as possible.
