Freud also features in a video explaining how their family escaped persecution in Nazi Germany to start a new life in the UK. The family - from her father, the legendary artist Lucien Freud to her great grandfather psychoanalyst Sigmund Freud - have since made a great impact in art, science, medicine, literature and fashion.

The collection is part of a wider campaign entitled Refugenes. Other high-profile supporters include Rita Ora and Elisa Sednaoui.

HOW YOU CAN HELP THE REFUGEE CRISIS NOW

In other Freud news, the designer opens a pop-up shop today in Fenwick on London's Bond Street - a mini version of her newly-opened Chiltern Street store. The space will also sell Freud's latest fragrance, Close To My Heart.

"A pop-up shop is a fun opportunity to play and experiment with the brand, making special new things which lead into new ideas for the collections," Freud told us. The pop-up at Fenwick of Bond Street is a mini Bella Freud world. I love the idea of such an iconic department store having a true representation of what I'm inspired by."
