It might have been a big night for One Direction at the BBC Radio 1 Teen Awards, where the boys scored two prizes for best British band and best British single for Best Song Ever, but all eyes were on the other styles this weekend.

That's because Taylor Swift, Rita Ora and the Little Mix girls hit the red-carpet in a host of head-turning looks.

As to be expected, Tay was the classiest of the bunch, wearing an evergreen, bejewelled skater dress by Jenny Packham with bronze Christian Louboutin heels.

Not to be outdone - or overlooked for that matter - Rita Ora turned heads in a feathered confection by Marchesa with matching Brian Atwood sandals. The R.I.P singer, who co-hosted the event with Nick Grimshaw, ended the night on a high, tweeting:

Pixie Lott picked a summery look for her turn on the red carpet, wowing in a pastel blue crop top and skirt with a white jacket and boots, while Fearne Cotton hit it big in one of GLAMOUR's fave micro-trends of the season: tiger style. The Radio 1 host arrived at Wembley Arena wearing a fierce Emma Cook tunic.

Wearing colour-co-ordinated neutrals, Little Mix kept it chic in a variety of styles that reflected their individual taste. Jade Thirlwall had to battle the wind to keep her flippy grey skirt in place, but they definitely made a stylish foursome.

Perrie Edwards said she and 1D's Zayn haven't started planning their wedding yet. She also added that they try to keep their life as low-key as possible:

"When you're in this industry life's never going to be normal. As much as you try. I do whatever I want. I go shopping all the time. I go out for food," the blonde singer told Metro. "I do everything normally but obviously Zayn is really famous so it's harder for him but we still do what we want to do. We like to stay grounded and be normal people and not act like divas."
