Barbie nails are shaping up to be the cutest mani trend this year

We've said it before and we said it again, Barbiecore is shaping up to be one of 2023's biggest trends – so big, you can expect spin-offs. Barbie nails, for example, are the cutest case in point. Everywhere we look the trend has invaded our social feeds, decorating manis in a million different gradients of pink, ready for when Barbie season reaches fever pitch this summer – in line with the launch of Margot Robbie's live action, Barbie, movie in July. 

We've seen two-tone pink Barbie nails, gradient pink Barbie nails, colour block Barbie nails, Barbie pink Frenchies, glitter Barbie nails, jelly Barbie nails and even a zebra Barbie pink mani. There's sophisticated Barbie lipgloss nails, cute Barbie flower nails and to-the-point straight up, all-over Barbie pink nails, so there's something for everyone, no matter how you want to play it. 

Still on the glazed donut nails train? They're not necessarily going anywhere either. Hailey Bieber's manicurist Zola Ganzorigt created a new rendition: Barbie glazed nails, for a bolder, cuter, more statement take on the trend that plays nicely with the Barbiecore movement.

We spotted Zola's bright pink spin on the trend peeking in at the side of a selfie Hailey posted to her Instagram Stories. While we don't have the exact deets on the shades, we know that Zola regularly works with OPI and all of her other glazed looks have called on the same Tin Can Man chrome dust. As for the statement candy pink, we're putting our money on OPI's Hotter Than You Pink gel colour, which is a super sweet vibrant pink.
