Aubrey Plaza excels at playing elusive, enigmatic, hard-to-pin-down women on screen. Perhaps that's why she chose to put a literal pin in her first red carpet look as the new face of Loewe.
At Sunday's Emmys, the White Lotus actor arrived in a butter yellow column gown with a soft sheen and an architectural square neckline pierced through with an oversized clothes pin.
She accessorized the whimsical design with gold pumps, bejewelled hoop earrings, and a smattering of rings. Her brown hair was styled half-up, half-down with her signature bangs left loose. Lastly, a swipe of plum lipstick and black eyeliner were added for contrast.
Aubrey Plaza is nominated for her first Emmy Award in the Outstanding Supporting Actress category for her portrayal of Harper Spiller in the drama series' second season, which aired on HBO in 2022. There's been no word on whether Plaza's character will appear on the show's highly anticipated third season.
HBO has, however, confirmed earlier this month that Parker Posey, Jason Isaacs, Leslie Bibb, Dom Hetrakul, Michelle Monaghan, and Tayme Thapthimthong have been cast in the new season, which will be set in Thailand.
