Well… no, actually. In the fastest turnaround of gossip ever, it took less than 24 hours for the rumour of Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx's alleged romance to be born and shut down.
Speaking about the rumours, Foxx told Entertainment Tonight's Nancy O'Dell: "[The rumours] are one hundred per cent not true... In fact, it's quite hilarious because we simply danced at a charity event along with a lot of other people."
Reports had suggested that Foxx had been spending time with Holmes at her New York apartment.
Meanwhile, in other possible-but-not-probable Katie Holmes romance news, the actress has also been linked to George Clooney.
Holmes attended the New York premiere of Clooney's latest film Gravity, and eyewitnesses reported 'serious chemistry' between the pair.
Well, they did share a hug…
