The event will still be held at the Roundhouse in London's Camden, from 19-28 September, giving 1D fans to see the band in an intimate setting.

UK residents can apply to win tickets via Apple Music, although anyone not lucky enough to be there in person can watch all performances from their sofa, live, or on Apple's radio station, Beats 1.

The iTunes Festival was launched in 2007, with past acts including Adele, Beck, Coldplay, Elton John, Foo Fighters, Justin Timberlake, Kings of Leon, Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Maroon 5, Muse and Sir Paul McCartney.
