Last night, GLAMOUR hosted an exclusive screening of our cover star Amy Schumer's brand new comedy Snatched. As some of the first people in the world to see the film, we can confirm that it's hilarious and you're in for a treat.
Amy and her co-star, the legendary Goldie Hawn, play a mother and daughter duo whose holiday to Ecuador quickly turns into a disaster.
Before the screening, the girls took to the stage to speak with GLAMOUR's editor-in-chief Jo Elvin. Here's what we learnt...
It's obvious the pair have become pretty tight and Amy confirmed this in a way only she could. "We had a falling out actually," she told Jo. "No, we fell in love making this movie I would say. Only sexual on my part but..."
"It's a beautiful relationship, there's no question about it," added Goldie. "And it will continue. Sometimes you make a movie, you fall in love and you never see that person again. That does happen."
So, would they be each other's phone call from prison? Nope. Amy said she'd actually probably just call her lawyer (smart girl), but revealed they do FaceTime a lot. "If we're having a drink and she's looking at a nice sunset or something we'll FaceTime each other and I'll be like, 'Hi Mom!'"
We asked Amy if she'd had any serious holiday mishaps IRL, but she passed us straight over to Goldie. "This is a question I like you to go first for because Goldie's lived a real life, not just been to Tijuana. I'm trash from Long Island. Like, what do you want me to say?"
"I have to get Amy out more," said Goldie. "I did a lot of crazy things, I did some amazing stuff..." We can imagine.
"I would say we have similar values, we have a similar look at life, similar life challenges and goals," said Goldie. "And... we have blonde hair."
Well, kind of.
Snatched will be released in UK cinemas on May 19. Watch the full trailer below:
