You may not have thought about this before, but manifesting money is probably something we should all focus on as the cost of living crisis soars in the UK.
No, really, hear us out. As a nation, we have all been feeling the pinch and struggling financially as household bills and rent prices have quickly risen to the highest levels in decades, with many facing homelessness and others picking up extra shifts just to make ends meet.
But as we tackle this difficult time by actions we deem the best fit, the question remains, how else can we support ourselves and see ourselves through the cost of living crisis?
Stay calm and cash in.

Well, Amanda Frances, aka the "Money Queen", a financial empowerment leader for women globally, has preached the idea of manifestation as a form of attracting money. I mean, we've all heard the notion of manifesting certain things into our lives, but is it all really vision boards and positive thinking, or can it be applied to a more pressing matter such as money-making?
Speaking to GLAMOUR UK, Amanda breaks the power of money manifestation down into seven simple steps.
1. Know it's possible
Your mind is very powerful, and Amanda reinforces: "It is hard to manifest or attract anything into your life that you don't believe is possible for you to have. This is true of, well, everything, including your finances". She adds: "For manifestation to work for you, you have to be open and available, knowing your desired outcome is possible for you. So, let your defences down, get curious, and allow yourself to become willing to see that you can manifest money. What do you have to lose?
2. Get clear on what you want
Amanda acknowledges that it's nearly impossible to manifest something when we don't know what it is we want. "It's time to get clear: What do you want? Like, really, really want. Think about this: If everything is possible for you, no one will get mad at you for having it, and nothing could go wrong if you got it… what would you allow yourself to want? How much spending money? What kind of salary, raise, promotion or bonus?" Amanda adds: "Don't worry about how it will happen, for now, just admit what you want. If you find that some of these desires scare you, good. You now know you're getting to the good stuff."
3. Drop the shame
People feel conflicted or guilty about their now unearthed desires. They feel selfish, bad or wrong for wanting what they want.
But Amanda preaches: "f you really look at it, your reasons for wanting what you want aren't selfish at all. Perhaps, you want increased income to put your children in a better school, buy all organic foods, wear clothes that you feel good in, worry less about bills or simply enjoy your life more. These things aren't wrong. You are allowed to feel good and enjoy your life."
4. Examine thoughts and ideas in your way
If you believe rich people are bad, you won't allow yourself to become rich. Some thoughts need to be examined, Amanda explains. "Are some rich people bad? Yes. Are all rich people bad? No. Are there well-resourced people who are wildly generous? Yes. Are there people with money who use their money to make the world a better place? Yes. Could you choose to be someone with money who does good things with her money? Abso-f*ing-lutely!"
The finance expert adds: "You likely have many thoughts and ideas about money that stop you from allowing more of it into your life. These ideas may come from your religion, family, community, culture, etc. Some of these ideas are blocking you from manifesting the money you desire."
5. Take inspired action
Dubbing this the "fun part", Amanda explains: "I was talking to a woman today who is enrolled in one of my digital courses. She recently manifested over $10,000. How did it come into her life? Well, while working through one of the modules, she felt a little nudge or ping to go back through her taxes. As she reworked things, she found an error she had made. An error that resulted in a lot of extra money!" This is apparently called "inspired action", and it can take countless, unique forms.
"It could be an idea you have for a business or business model. It could be an opportunity that you feel to take a chance on. A person you sense you need to call. I could go on and on," Amanda says. "Oftentimes, it is the step or move that allows the money you desire to flow into your physical reality."
6. Stay with it
Speaking from experience, the author says: "After I decide on what I want, know it's possible for me and remove thoughts and ideas in my way… sometimes there is a lag time. For me, it has been imperative that I stay with it and continue to believe. I move through my life as though the money I want is coming to me. This is what is often referred to by metaphysical teachers as being "an energetic match" for something.
"It means that the thoughts I think, words I say, emotions I feel, and actions I take are all in line with me getting what I want — no matter how it looks."
7. This is for the next-level manifestors: View it as inevitable.
As you practice manifesting money and have a money miracle or two under your belt, you can stop viewing manifesting as something that sometimes occurs for you, and move into viewing your next levels of growth, abundance and financial increase as… completely inevitable.
Amanda adds: "At this point, you know that each and every new desire is a sign of what you are meant to have and where you are intended to go in this life. You allow your desires to guide you, and you call in all the things you've ever wanted.
"And, I have to tell you, it gets better and better as you go," she concludes.
Would you talk money on the first date?
