In among the more cerebral thoughts we had this weekend, it came to our attention that Alexa Chung dresses A LOT like the little girl in Miracle On 34th Street.
Not the original, we're talking about the 1994 version starring Mara Wilson, who went on to land the role of Matilda. This is no bad thing - Susan Walker is a snappy dresser, with a love of tartan, sweet dresses and collars. She and Chung have an affinity for velvet everything, Peter Pan collars, little girl dresses and black Mary Janes. Chung is essentially a lovably scruffy version of Susan Walker.
