<p class="story-body__introduction">Adele kicked off her world tour in Belfast last
night. But not all was smooth sailing for the record-breaking
singer as she struggled with some unfortunate pre-show, er... bowel
movements.

<p class="story-body__introduction">Not even a multiple-BRIT Award
winner can remain un-phased by the prospect of performing to 11,000
devoted fans in her first ever tour date. So much so that she was
hit by some pre-show nerves.
<p class="story-body__introduction">"This is my first time in an
arena ever," Adele explained after the show. "I have actually been
shitting myself all day, literally. I've had severe bowel
movements."
<p class="story-body__introduction">Adele went on: "When I came up
that fucking stage in the dark, oh my God, I thought I was going to
die."
<p class="story-body__introduction">And it wasn't just her stomach
that was giving her problems... "I woke up this morning sounding
like Arnold Schwarzenegger. My voice was so deep because I slept
with the air con on."
<p class="story-body__introduction">Oh no - not the
money-maker!
<p class="story-body__introduction">And the problems didn't stop
there... "Then Gatwick (airport) closed and I thought my boyfriend
wasn't going to get here on time."

<p class="story-body__introduction">Stop what you're doing - Adele
has just announced that she's going on tour.

<p class="story-body__introduction">She hinted to Graham Norton
last Friday that she would consider a tour, and now it's official.
It's happening. Adele will embark on a UK and European arena tour
next year - her first tour for five years.

The star will start in Belfast next February and visit Dublin, Manchester, London, Glasgow and Birmingham before moving on to mainland Europe. We don't care how far we have to travel, we'll be there. MARK. OUR. WORDS.
Tickets for the UK dates go on sale to members of her website on 1 December before going on general sale on 4 December.
