Last night was all about Adele. The singer scooped a total of four awards including British Female Artist, BRITs Global Success Award, British Single, and MasterCard British Album of The Year. But her winnings weren't the only reasons everyone was talking about the singer...
Here's 7 reasons why we're renaming the BRITs 2016 the 'Adele Awards'...
When accepting her award for BRITs Global Success, Adele got a little bit emotional. She said of the award (which was presented by Tim Peake from the International Space Station): "I can't work out if i'm crying because of that video or because Tim Peake did it. My kid's going to think I'm so cool."
"You're probably getting fucking bored of me anyway!" she quipped in true Adele style.

Hey, she's just won GLOBAL Success... so who can blame her?
When taking the stage to accept her Best British Single award for Hello, Adele nearly joined Madonna in the 'BRITs Best Falls' leaderboard. When greeting hosts Suki Waterhouse and Simon Le Bon after walking up the steps, Adele shrieked "I nearly fell over!"

The limelight was thrown on Adele's boyfriend of four years, Simon Konecki. As the singer accepted her MasterCard British Album of the Year award, she said about her (otherwise anonymous) partner: "I'm going to embarrass you, sorry, [but I want to thank] my boyfriend. I'm so lucky to have you love me the way you do, and to support me..."
She continued: "This album was really hard to make, and I think I was a nightmare sometimes, so thank you".
Simon then mouths "I love you" to Adele. It's adorable - see it here at 1.24:
Continuing her tribute to boyfriend Simon, Adele said "and thank you for our lovely son, who is the love of my life".
Addressing her 3-year-old son Angelo, she said: "This is all for you peanut, I love you so much".

Too cute.
Adele performed the second single from her album When We Were Young and naturally smashed it.
During her teary acceptance for her Global Success Award, Adele revealed that she was considering never returning to music.
She explained: "I got really lost for a while, I didn't know if I'd ever come back, and for you all to be so kind to me..."
She soon perked up though, saying: "Not bad for a girl from Tottenham who don't like flying getting Global Success!" (sic)
