GLAMOUR's online fashion editor, Ella Alexander, examines the key celebrity looks of the day:

How right it feels to have Adele within eyesight again, and looking so goddamn fine too. This look typifies Adele's own brand of star-in-disguise, complete with oversized shades, fedora hat and bright lipstick. Harem trousers are a tough nut to crack, but teaming them with a pair of lace-up boots adds a dressy edge.

Look 2: Rachel Weisz

Rachel Weisz makes just existing look easy; insanely clever, talented and beautiful, she also exudes a quiet confidence that makes everything she wears look perfect. A lesser mortal might have been overshadowed by the drama of this Oscar de la Renta strapless gown, but not Weisz who looks as comfortable in this as she would do in her pyjamas.

Look 3: Helen Mirren

Helen Mirren singlehandedly puts to bed the idea that ageing negates style. She owns every single look she tries, plays to her sartorial strengths and always looks like she's having an excellent time wearing it, including this billowing white gown.

Look 4: Kendall Jenner

There is something of the Jedi knight about Kendall Jenner's fabric-heavy airport outfit, which she teamed with a pair of futuristic-looking Miu Miu slip-ons. It's perhaps not a look that will appeal to the masses, but it's a testament to Jenner's willingness to try out different looks even if they're not typical Kardashian fodder.

Look 5: Rosie Huntington-Whiteley

Truthfully, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley could wear an old dirty sack and still look beautiful, but we're pleased she decided on this pink modern-princess number instead. The colour offsets the model's LA tan and the applique bustier detailing adds an ornate, rich edge. If Cinderella was to go on a night out on the tiles, she could do worse than this pretty number.
