Remember the excitement surrounding the last Emoji drop earlier this year? Well, start squealing because Unicode Consortium has announced that a further 38 new emojis will be released in 2016.
The most recent update included differing family options and new skin tones, but 2016 will see some entirely new emojis. The list will include a pregnant woman, a face palm and, to brunch lovers' delight, an avocado.
Twitter users have expressed their bitterness at not seeing a Taco emoji, but here at GLAMOUR we're wondering just why the guys at Unicode Consortium still haven't thought to include cheese in their updates. Fingers crossed also for the introduction of certain well-loved mythical creatures such as mermaids and unicorns…
