Caroline Tien

Caroline Tien is SELF’s nutrition and fitness writer. Prior to joining SELF in 2024, she worked at Hearst Connecticut Media Group, The San Antonio Express-News, and Newsweek. Her health and wellness writing has also appeared in a variety of other publications, including Greatist, Inverse, Verywell Health, and The Zoe Report. Originally from Rhode Island, she now lives in New York City and loves exploring the five boroughs.
