Ashleigh Spiliopoulou
Freelance Writer
Based in Hertfordshire and specialising in women’s health, travel and beauty, Ashleigh is a freelance journalist and content creator. With a former career in lifestyle PR, Ashleigh transitioned into full time journalism in July 2025, after three years of writing part-time.
Currently, she writes for a wide range of consumer titles and national newspapers, including Glamour, Conde Nast Traveller, Marie Claire, Stylist, Women’s Health, Dazed and The Telegraph.
A psychology graduate of Loughborough University, Ashleigh has a particular interest in taboo or stigmatised topics in the fields of women’s and mental health. Through her writing she seeks to shed light on topics often deemed shameful, opening up necessary conversations which are all too often made invisible.
Career highlights include an investigative feature on women’s experience of medical trauma during the diagnosis and treatment of endometriosis, a status report on the current use of GLP-1 injections and personal essays on her experience of period loss for Stylist, intimacy anxiety for Glamour and being trolled for a haircut in Cosmopolitan UK.
In the realm of beauty, Ashleigh has a penchant for testing the latest skincare devices and treatments: she’s wedded to her Therabody depuffing wand which she recently reviewed for Glamour.
In her spare time, you’ll find her solo travelling (and often writing about her experiences for Conde Nast Traveller), or hosting her run club Sunnie Runners, which she leads with fellow Glamour contributor, Georgia Brown.
