Zara's coolest (and comfiest!) summer sandals just went into the sale

This season's sandals have had us practically throwing our money at cashiers and running down Oxford Street giddy with glee.

With so many different styles, shapes, colours and fabrics, we've given up saving for a mortgage and have instead revamped our shoe arsenal.

But which pair is our favourite?

While it may feel akin to choosing your favourite child (always the second-born though, isn't it, mum?), we've managed to put aside our loyalty to each and dub Zara's strapped pair with metal detailing this season's winners.

Endlessly flattering, elegant in their slightness and with a modern, statement heel, they're not only bang on trend but also surprisingly comfortable.

I debuted mine on yet another hottest-day-of-the-year-so-far whilst running in and out of the office, to and from meetings and through to dinner. And there was no rubbing, no foot-ache and no blisters.

The even better news? They're currently sitting pretty in the brand's belting summer sale - reduced from £39.99 to £22.99.

There's really no excuse not to.
