"This picture was taken at the 12 mile point of my first half-marathon - I ran the whole thing fuelled by left-over chocolates from a dinner party and would ENTIRELY recommend this. I love this photo because it sums up all the work I’d put in, and the exuberant joy I felt at finding my body doing something extraordinary. I ran the London Marathon the following year (awful, would not recommend) and tweeted my way round, raising loads for Mind, who ended up using this photo on their flyers (and on their building!) and high-fiving teenage me who was ill with depression and thought that she “couldn’t” run. Mate, you totally can."

“I’m a sentimental sucker for sunsets – and a sea view – and this photo from Columbo, Sri Lanka last October blew my mind. I mean, just LOOK at those colours. "In the summer of 2008, I worked at an all-girls’ camp on Steamboat Lake in Laporte, Minnesota, and I still consider it one of the best experiences of my life. I took this photo on the final morning at 6am from the closed sailing dock where the kids had screeched their faces off for 10 weeks. It felt strange to see it so calm, so serene, so beautiful. I still remember exactly how I felt in that moment - and they're the best kind of pictures, right?"

"I've always taken pictures of musicians, and have been lucky to shoot some talented people including, James Bay, Gabrielle Aplin and Jake Bugg. My favourite opportunity though, was when I was asked to photograph my good friend Alice Jemima (here) to support her debut album campaign. I felt at the time, and still do, SO proud of her. It’s been an honour to share a part of her journey, and I look back at this picture remembering that this was start of something very special. I can't wait to see her live at Bestival next month!"
