WENNWhile Fearne Cotton gives her rock-inspired outfit a final edgy touch with an oversized leopard print tote, we find out she’s not the only celebrity who’s a fan of fierce-some, attention-grabbing patterns.

PA PhotosAttending a skate wear launch with boyfriend Joel Madden, Nicole Richie swaps an LBD for a cute black jumper and hotpants combo, that fits perfectly with the urban theme of the night. What really lifts her outfit though – besides her glossy hair and glowing skin of course – is the effortlessly strewn leopard print scarf; this simple touch is a clear proof of Nicole’s overall stylishness.

It’s so easy for leopard print to look tacky, but Kate Bosworth, pictured with boyfriend James Rousseau, gives it a nonchalant ‘80s spin by pairing her vintage T-shirt with skinny stonewash denim. The classic Aviator sunglasses and red, studded Chloé ankle boots give her outfit an “I’m-with-the-band”, rock edge but her cosy navy cardigan prevents her outfit from looking overly stylised.

Pixie Geldof’s birthday get-together at Bungalow 8 was the perfect excuse for Alexa Chung to fool around with the face paints, and her leopard print jacket just adds to the overall quirkiness of her playfully chaotic party look.
PA PhotosNever one to shy away from an attention-grabbing look, Kelly Osbourne does just that in a figure-hugging zebra print dress. Despite its off-the-shoulder style, this dress would look sedate in plain black or just white, but the two together give it a racy, glamorous appeal.
PA PhotosA stand-out look from this year’s Golden Globes, we’re glad to see Maggie Gyllenhaal break away from her trademark black outfits with this show-stopping, blue spotted gown from Lanvin. Not only is she hitting the animal print trend, her dress leads the way with a fashionable one-shoulder style and oversized bow.

Unlike Kelly Osbourne, who used a punchy zebra print to draw attention to her figure, America Ferrera’s monochrome shift dress, with a distorted white tiger-inspired print, creates an optical illusion that balances out her curvy shape for a flattering evening look.
Rex FeaturesThe best thing about exotic skins is that they can give a plain outfit a touch of glamour and extravagance. Jessica Alba’s grey, snakeskin tote does just that; despite her heart-print wellies, her cosy winter ensemble would look basic without it.
Bigpicturesphoto.comCelebrity minds must think alike it seems, as Kelly Brook has the same idea, using an envy-inducing snakeskin tote to add personality to her smart winter outfit.

With her glowing skin and hair, you’d never guess Billie Piper was a new mum – we’re thinking baby Winston must sleep through the night! Nevertheless, carrying a little extra weight compared to the super-svelte figure she flaunts in ITV drama Belle Du Jour, Billie covers up in an all-black ensemble; her cool leopard print scarf doing her the favour of stealing the focus away from her tummy and up to her rosy complexion and glossy mane.
PA PhotosWith elfin green boots and punchy red lipstick, Lily Allen needn’t have bothered with the leopard print coat to get herself noticed. However her cosy outerwear is a sensible choice, not only for its warming properties but the startling print is a great way to elevate the mood during the dull winter.
