This is the new 'IT' bag, according to our favourite influencers

Woven handbags have undoubtably been the standout choice this summer, but while many of us have been chopping and changing between a selection of high street versions, there is one brand in particular that's proving popular with our favourite influencers.

Having launched their label in 2014, Manchester-based sibling duo Belinda and James Yu created Wicker Wings as a sort of tribute to their grandmother.

Continuing her history of crafting pieces via traditional handwoven methods, Belinda and James decided to launch a handbag brand which would see the blending of Chinese artisanal art of wicker weaving with British leather craftsmanship.

The even better news? It's an entirely sustainable, British brand. Using rattan grown from a single seed and luxurious vegetable tanned leather from Tuscany each bag takes two days to create and is ethically made in England.

The result? A whole host of minimalistically sleek, chic, Instagram-friendly handbags that have quickly found their way into the hands of some of our favourite influencers...
