So... Who REALLY wore it better?

With designers all the more eager to see their designs on the hottest celebs of the moment and celebs taking 'inspiration' from outfits of the past, there were bound to be clashes.
Pandering to our judgmental side (sorry not sorry), we can't help but weigh up who looks best in an outfit; whether we're impressed by one celeb's daring, charmed by another's willing to try a new look or wowed by their expert accessorising...
This sartorial nightmare leaves us with one question: Who wore it best?
Getty ImagesNot all outfit matches are accidental you know; Ingrid Goes West stars Elizabeth Olsen and Aubrey Plaza matched their premiere dresses on PURPOSE. The outfit match was a homage to their characters - an Instagram fan (Plaza) stalking her favourite social media star (Olsen). Nicely done, girls!
WINNER: YOU BOTH WIN.
DisneySee what we mean? Princess Aurora rocked a similar dress in the 1959 Brothers Grimm x Disney classic.
WINNER: Only Rih could make the folk tale dress work for 2017. I think we've found ourselves a winner.

We love Harry Styles's penchant for a funky shirt. If we were his girlfriend, we'd totally steal this red one. OH WAIT...

Harry's rumoured girlfriend blogger Tess Ward was spotted wearing the same shirt at the polo. Is this confirmation of their romance?!
WINNER: We hate to pit two lovers against one another but we're going to anyway. We think Tess has styles the men's shirt perfectly. Sorry Hazza, you lose.
Getty ImagesRihanna's Met Gala 2017 after party outfit was comprised of pink, oversized Gucci shades, a silk robe with feather-trims and matching feathered shoes. It was a look to say the least, and it certainly made an impression on someone...
Rex FeaturesJust a week later Blac Chyna, Rob Kardashian's baby mumma, wore the exact same Gucci shades to a Las Vegas pool party. She even wore a white robe a la Rih.
WINNER: Is there any contest? Queen Rihanna all the way.
Getty ImagesJennifer Lopez's blue Valentino Met Gala 2017 dress was getting a lot of love, and being compared to everyone's favourite Disney princess...
DisneyELSA. The blue flowy gown was reminiscent of the ice queen's, but who wore it best?
WINNER: We're giving it to our gal, J.Lo. Whatta beauty.
Rex FeaturesLeslie Mann hit the Oscars 2017 red carpet wearing a huge layered Zac Posen gown. Remind you of anyone?
Rex FeaturesYuhuh, Leslie's dress is so similar to Belle's from Beauty and the Beast. Princess goals.
WINNER: Leslie takes it. Oscars red carpet perfection.
PA PhotosFor the 2017 Oscars, Karlie Kloss looked UH-MAZING in a one-sleeved white Stella McCartney gown. She also wore a ACLU blue ribbon.
PA PhotosGwyneth wore a very similar dress to the 2012 Oscars, also Stella McCartney.
WINNER: We prefer Karlie's look. That lipstick and hair!
Getty ImagesChiara Ferragni attended Fendi's autumn winter 17 show wearing a full Fendi look, comprised of a cut-out cropped jumper and striped peplum leather trousers. But, wait. Eek - we've definitely already seen this look this fashion month...
Getty ImagesTo the LOVE x Burberry party, Jourdan Dunn wore the exact same look.
WINNER: We love both ladies' take on this look, but we think the win has to go to our April 2017 covergirl Jourdan's look. That hair!
RexTo a Dior party, Bella Hadid gave a nod to the 90s in a long, denim dress. She looks ace, but of course she isn't the first lady to rock a denim, strapless dress in spectacular fashion...
GettyOne of her most iconic outfits, Britney Spears stepped out in a floor-length denim dress at the 2001 MTV VMAs and we're still talking about it till this day.
WINNER: As much as we love Brit's original, we prefer Bella Hadid's more feminine shape and dark denim update.
FlynetFor her 21st birthday, Kendall Jenner stunned in a barely there $9,000 Labourjoisie mini dress with Swarovski crystals round her neck. But we're sure we've seen this look before...
Getty ImagesFor her 21st birthday back in 2002, Paris Hilton made sure all eyes were on her wearing a slinky, silver mini dress with slits on the side.
WINNER: We have to give this to Kendall Jenner - the model looked RIDICULOUS (and in a really good way).
Getty ImagesKylie Jenner repped this glitzy gown during this month's fashion week and managed to look glamorous as well as casual in it. But then...
Getty Images...Ariel Winter wore the longer version to the 2016 Emmy Awards. Same dress, totally different looks - who wore it better?
WINNER: We have to hand this on to Ariel, her classy outfit was made for the red carpet.
Rex FeaturesBack in April 2016, Alexa Chung attended a Villoid garden party in this slinky pink number by NK iMode, teamed with a pair of Converse..
XposureThen out steps North West, looking every inch the 90s dream in a similar slip dress and converse for her her grandma MJ's 82nd birthday dinner.
WINNER: We wouldn't say this lightly, but Chung you lose. North has serious swagger when it comes to style.
Getty ImagesAlex Turner of The Last Shadow Puppets worked a certain slogan T-shirt at Glastonbury this year...
Rex FeaturesBut a brave (may stupid) man would take on the style credentials of Alexa Chung who wore the style a few months before in new York.
WINNER: Alexa, obviously. Sorry, Alex, this is a no-brainer.
PA PhotosBella Hadid looked absolutely incredible at Cannes Film Festival 2016. From her side-swept fringe to the red dress complete with a thigh high split, it was stunning. We can't help but feel like we've seen the look before though...
Rex FeaturesPerhaps on Jessica Rabbit?
WINNER: Sorry JR, we think Bella wore this look better!
PA PhotosThe Duchess of Cambridge wore tis beautiful floral embroidered Tory Burch dress to dinner with King and Queen of Bhutan during a visit to India...
Rex Features...While Drew Barrymore sported the same look without the tangerine sheath to a New York charity gala.
WINNER: The princess wins out in this one - that tan is a deciding factor.
Getty ImagesIt's a Simon Cowell special... high-waisted black trousers, a low cut, chest hair-baring white shirt and black sunglasses. A look that has toned down since it's glory days of 2008 by is still worn by Cowell in variations. He's the original, but has he been outshone?...
Getty ImagesDavid Walliams sashayed along the Britain's Got Talent launch red carpet rocking Simon's signature look in his absence.
WINNER: There's no question here. David NAILED it.
Getty ImagesKing Keith Richards, otherwise known as Keef, is a fan of Saint Laurent who often goes in for their tailoring, especially their jackets. It seems fitting that he should, as a rock 'n' roll pirate, be wearing a bomber jacket decorated in palm trees.
Rex FeaturesLegend has it that Richards and Bieber met for the first time in Parrot Cay island in Turks and Caicos, where the Rolling Stones guitarist has a retreat. Richards asked the singer who he was, to which Bieber replied, "I dunno, who the fuck are you?" Richards then laughed and said, "You're a man. I respect that" and invited him to have a drink and proceeded to tell me that he was a wannabe. So, perhaps Bieber's wearing of the same jacket to the BRIT Awards is an homage to Richards.
WINNER: No brainer this one. Keith Richards is the original rock 'n' roll style arbiter.
Getty ImagesWorn to the L'Oreal Red Obsession party in Paris, Irina Shayk looked gorgeous in this Dior red mini dress. We love how she's worn it with slicked back hair and a black clutch. But did she take styling inspiration from someone else...?
Getty ImagesIt looks like it. Selena Gomez wore the exact same dress a few months earlier AGAIN with slicked back hair and a black clutch.
WINNER: This is an ultra sexy step up for Selena Gomez so we're calling her the winner.
RexAndreja Pejic wore the stunning gown to the Elton John Aid Foundation event with simple black matching accessories...
GettyWhile Taylor Swift rocked the gown to the Oscars after-party with gold accents.
WINNER: Both look gorgeous but we're going to have to give this one to Tay Tay. We think the shiny gold gives the outfit a little something extra.
Getty ImagesAlicia Vikander STUNNED on the Oscar's red carpet in a custom-made Louis Vuitton dress. The yellow gown got the Twittersphere drawing a likeness to her and a certain Disney character...
AlamyYes, Belle from Beauty and the Beast. We can totally see the connection - can't you? But, who wore it best?!
WINNER: As much as we value Belle as a style icon, this has to go to Alicia. We just can't get enough of the sequin detail.

The Queen, one of few in this modern age to always look properly dressed, has been a purveyor of a head-to-toe colour situation since as long as we can remember. She also rocked Gucci's block heel loafers long before the FROW.
IndigitalAnd so to Gucci, who channelled a very regal look on its autumn/winter 2016 catwalk, complete with matching hat and bag. Conservative, elegant but refreshingly bright.
WINNER: It's a close call, but Her Majesty was ahead of the game on this one.
Getty ImagesZayn Malik was officially inaugurated into the fashion world when he attended Louis Vuitton's latest menswear show in the label's floral bomber and chinos...
Getty ImagesOnly to be challenged in the style stakes by Brooklyn Beckham, who wore the same piece to the Grammys after-party - adding a geek chic appeal with his specs.
WINNER: Zayn rules on this one, offering a more high fashion appeal.
GettyTaylor Swift looked sensational at the 2016 Grammys in colour block separates by Atelier Versace. Though is it just us, or does she look a lot like...
AlamyBianca Stratford from the prom scene in 10 Things I Hate About You? We all wanted to dress just like her for our school disco back in 1999, and now, even.
WINNER: With the sleek update of form-fitting bandeau top and exquisite structured skirt, it has to be Taylor, but we'd still like to steal Bianca's style, too.
Getty ImagesBeyoncé paid tribute to Michael Jackson with her Dsquared2 Super Bowl outfit. We thought that military-style jacket looked familiar...
Getty ImagesYep. Michael Jackson had worn a very similar look before.
WINNER: As much as we love it on Beyoncé, we're gonna have to give it to Michael Jackson's original version. Extra points for the matching gold thong thing.
Rex FeaturesLady Gaga stole the Super Bowl show wearing a custom glittery red Gucci suit, teamed with matching eye shadow...
Getty ImagesWe thought we'd seen it out before. Model Coco Rocha wore the same suit with a white T underneath and smoky eyes.
WINNER: Though we'd personally wear Coco's more understated styling, we can't help but fall for Gaga's brave take on the look. Those platforms.
Getty ImagesGrease Live star Julianne Hough looked exceptionally sleek in the white jumpsuit and over-the-shoulder blazer she sported for a party in San Francisco lately. But she wasn't the only one with this genius fashion idea...
Getty ImagesActress Olivia Munn coveted a strikingly similar ensemble, right down to the oversized shoulder-robing blazer.
WINNER: We've got to give this one to the Munn. That flash of the abs, her side-swept hair and the slightly more loose, luxe feel to the outfit just cinch it for us.
Getty ImagesWe all love a cosy aviator jacket, and Alexa Chung is no exception. She combined her coat with a chunky cream knit jumper, a cute beanie and a Burberry checked scarf.
FlynetRihanna also kept warm in her leather aviator recently, and combined the piece with a blue hoodie and black jeans.
WINNER: Sorry Rhi, we have to admit we like Alexa's look just a little more. Both ladies look great, but Alexa's Burberry scarf and chunky knits are seriously stylish.
Getty ImagesRita Ora chose the Balmain x H&M embellished blazer-dress for her (scary?!) costume as she attended UNIF UK's Halloween ball. But hold the phone, we've definitely seen this look before...
Getty ImagesKendall Jenner famously rocked the same Balmain showstopper earlier on at the Billboard Music Awards.
WINNER: So both stylishly wore the blazer-dress with over-the-knee black boots which we love. But we're going to have to give the crown to Kendall... Rita, were you meant to be scary?
Rex FeaturesAmal Clooney stepped out in October in this statement turquoise £4200 suede coat from Burberry Prorsum but, guess what we'd seen the look on someone else before...
Rex FeaturesNaomi Campbell had already worn the exact same coat in February, accessorising it with a fedora and black handbag.
WINNER: It doesn't really seem fair to put these two against each other when basically they are just putting on a coat but, if we have to choose, it's got to be Amal for the way nonchalant way she ties the belt.
Getty ImagesKim Kardashian was spotted in this Ramones T-shirt in July when she wore it with ripped jeans and a bit of shoulder-robing - but someone's been stealing her look...
AKM-GSIAnd it's not one of her sisters. Kanye West isn't averse to wearing his wife's clothes. The rapper was spotted in the same T-shirt in September.
WINNER: Sorry Kanye, the Missus has the final word in this wardrobe clash.
GettyChanel Iman rocked a seriously gorgeous burgundy floor-length Zimmermann dress to the Melrose Place Zimmermann store opening event...
Getty... however, Kendall Jenner rocked the exact same dress weeks earlier at a screening of Paper Towns.
WINNER: We think Kendall has just about won this dress battle, as the detailed gown looks better with a simple up-do.
Rex FeaturesPrince William wore this little ensemble when he went to visit his little brother (Prince Harry) in hospital back in 1984. He obviously looked through the old family photos because he dressed his son, Prince George, in a very similar replica...
Getty ImagesAt the christening of his little sister, Princess Charlotte, Prince George rocked a little pair of red shorts and a red and white top for the event of the year. Very similar to dads, dontcha think?
WINNER: We think Prince George's 2016 take just clinches this one.
Getty ImagesFKA Twigs' Christopher Kane dress was the most talked about outfit of the Met Ball 2015. With some fashion critics slamming the outfit, we thought this could be the last time we saw a celeb step out in this collection. Until...
Getty ImagesAlexa Chung stepped out in a similar dress called 'lovers lace' from the designer's AW15 collection.
WINNER: Alexa edges this one; while we applaud FKA Twigs' daring, we prefer Chung's slightly more romantic choice of gown.
Splash NewsStepping out in New York, Kim Kardashian vamped up her look in a leopard wrap dress paired with oversized sunnies and nude Louboutin platforms. It wouldn't be long until a certain family member would be copying the look...
INFPhoto.comYup, Caitlyn Jenner wore a near identical dress out in the same city choosing to marry the outfit with black accessories and a stellar blow dry. But, who wore it better?
WINNER: Caitlyn Jenner. Sorry but the look's a) more classy and b) more ladylike. We love.
PA ImagesStella McCartney rocked this sheer black jumpsuit with gold polka-dots while trudging through the Glastonbury mud this weekend. The designer accessorised with a cross-body bag and Hunter wellies.
HuntersIn a slightly awkward turn of (style) events, director Sam Taylor Johnson also wore the exact same jumpsuit to the exact same festival. She too wore Hunter wellies, and only differentiated the look with bright pink hair.... oh, and a handsome husband. But, who wore it better?
WINNER: We have to side with Stella on this one. The designer looks seriously cool and sophisticated and like the ultimate A-lister.
Getty ImagesRosie Huntington-Whiteley chose this souped-up Balmain disco suit for a party in Paris way back in September. The super model opted for minimal accessories, teaming the look with only a pair of studs and a tight low-slung bun.
Getty ImagesAnd what do you know, Chrissy Teigen rocked the same look eight months later whilst hosting the 2015 Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas. The model rocked a '70s waistbelt and satin box clutch with the jumpsuit - opting for a heavy smoky eye and cascading tousles. But, who wore it better?
WINNER: For us, the winner is definitely Rosie Huntington-Whiteley for her less-is-more approach. The outfit makes a statement all by itself and we feel Teigen was a little over-done.
GettyChiara Ferragni vs Lupita Nyong'o vs Poppy Delevingne
This Chanel AW14 dress just won't stop popping up. We love the way Blonde Salad it-girl Chiara Ferragni styled it out with a furry pop-art clutch and retro sunnies.
GettyChiara Ferragni vs Lupita Nyong'o vs Poppy Delevingne
Lupita N'yong opted for the same dress for the 2014 MTV Movie Awards, opting for a vampier style. The actress finished the look with metallic feline flicks and vibrant blue pumps.
GettyChiara Ferragni vs Lupita Nyong'o vs Poppy Delevingne
...And what do you know, Poppy Delevingne had the same idea but toughened it up with a severe plait and side slick.
WINNER: This one goes to Chiara Ferragni for her effortless look. She kept things low-key and parred back which is perfect for such a busy dress.
Getty ImagesBella Thorne Vs Shailene Woodley
All-black-everything, Bella Thorne selected the AllSaints Balfern jacket whilst out and about in LA. It's a strong look for the daytime with leather on leather but somehow, it works!
Getty ImagesThis AllSaints jacket has literally not come off Shailene Woodley during her Insurgent press duties. It's not hard to see why with all those biker details, we're seriously lusting...
WINNER: We're so torn! We like them both but if we had to choose, we'd give gold to Ms Woodley. We like the more laid back styling, not to mention that badass branded tee.
Getty ImagesPoppy Delevingne Vs Kim Kardashian
Poppy Delevingne looked smoking hot in a rather familiar Balmain dress during the brand's dinner for their first London store opening. That fringing...
Getty ImagesPoppy Delevingne Vs Kim Kardashian
But it looks like someone repped it first. Kimmy K wore the pink version during Paris Fashion Week and it wasn't just her new blonde locks that had people talking.
WINNER: Personally we think the clear winner is Poppy D. The blue, the thigh highs, the slick backed 'do. No contest.
Getty ImagesRita Ora Vs Kim Kardashian
Rita opted for an eye catching Atsuko Kudo dress for the Mert & Marcus House of Love party for Madonna held at London's Annabel’s. Leaving absolutely nothing to the imagination, Kim Kardashian had the same idea...
Rex FeaturesRita Ora Vs Kim Kardashian
Yikes, we don't even want to know what Kim had to say when she spotted Rita in the almost-identical dress at the same event. They may have opted for slightly different versions, Kim in the turtle neck and Rita in the straps, but let's face it, these skin-tight pink latex dresses are basically the same.
WINNER: This one goes to Rita. Although Kim's curves look fairly sensational, the fur is just too much. The latex says enough already.
PA PhotosMaggie Grace Vs Jennifer Lopez
Maggie Grace wore the Christian Siriano Spring 2015 ensemble first - to the premiere of her new movie, Taken 3. And then two weeks later...
PA PhotosMaggie Grace Vs Jennifer Lopez
Jennifer Lopez bravely took to the red carpet wearing the navy knit top and green metallic flared skirt. Both actresses look great, we think you’ll agree. But who wore it best?
WINNER: We reckon J-Lo jazzed the look up slightly, what with her wacky Christian Louboutin shoes, the bun hairstyle , and the sweep of green eyeshadow. Plus, we can’t ignore the bra situation – Jen, we’re not sure the nude bra, um, works.
Getty ImagesLeigh Lezark Vs Rosie HW Vs Rihanna
Leigh Lezark is a brave beauty to rock the Tom Ford nipples pasties, but she's rocking them nonetheless. We suggest not stretching too far for those canapes though Leigh, keep Tom Ford to their imaginations.
Splash NewsLeigh Lezark Vs Rosie HW Vs Rihanna
Rosie Huntington-Whiteley hit the sands for a shoot in November 2014, but aside from the flowing beachy locks, her outfit was far from your average holiday get-up. Her risque Tom Ford dress - which is part of the designer's Spring/Summer 2015 collection - features a thigh-high centre-split, waist cut-outs and nude-hued bejewelled cups.
PA PhotosLeigh Lezark Vs Rosie HW Vs Rihanna
But who could forget when Rihanna wore the very same design at the amfAR 2014 Gala? Ri rocked hers with a sleek updo, a bright red lip and a pair of saucy stockings. Unlike Rosie, Rihanna wore the dress straight off the runway, complete with sheer cups.
WINNER: While Rosie looks beaut in the dress, we have to hand it to Rihanna, who made the dress one of her most iconic fashion moments. Namely, thanks to risking the original revealing design.
Rex FeaturesPaloma Faith Vs Emma Stone
Paloma Faith gave this uber modern leather bandeau dress by Lanvin a retro twist when she paired it with tumbling, waist-length curls, feline flicks and statement heels at the BBC Music Awards. And across the pond she had a style twin the form of...
Rex FeaturesPaloma Faith Vs Emma Stone
Emma Stone. The Spiderman starlet wore the very same dress to a Paris premiere, six months earlier. Teaming it with a chic pair of bow-detail heels, impossibly glossy updo and bright red lip, she played true to the simple catwalk styling of the design.
WINNER: We have to give this battle of the redheads to Emma Stone thanks to her simpler and therefore more striking styling.
PA PhotosOlivia Palermo V Jena Malone
At the 2014 British Fashion Awards, Olivia looked gorgeous in a lemon yellow front-slit, floor-length skirt by Emilia Wickstead. She teamed it with a shimmery black top and her trademark glossy locks. But it seems Olivia wasn't the only one to fall head over heels for this fashion-forward creation...
PA PhotosOlivia Palermo V Jena Malone
At The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 World Premiere in London, Jena made a statement in the very same canary yellow skirt. She teamed hers with a chic off-the-shoulder white top, which created a very different but still enviable red carpet look.
WINNER: Although we love both looks, we're going to have to hand this one to Olivia. There's something about the way she puts outfits together that makes her a hard lady to beat in the fashion stakes...
Rex FeaturesNaomi Campbell V Beyonce
Glamour is Naomi Campbell's middle name, and she outdid herself in this second-skin Tom Ford gown and black stole at the American Museum of Natural History Gala in New York. But she's not the only one who fell for Mr Ford's catwalk creation...
Rex FeaturesNaomi Campbell V Beyonce
Back in 2013, Beyonce wore a much shorter version of the dress to the launch of her self-titled album with a pair of matching over-the-knee boots.
WINNER: Bey looks great in the mini, but the OTK boots are overkill, so we're going to give this one to Naomi.
Rex FeaturesAlessandra Ambrosio V Rosie Huntington-Whiteley V Kim Kardashian
Victoria's Secret girl Alessandra Ambrosio took the plunge at the Annual Latin Grammy Awards in November 2014 in Balmain's ornate cape-come-mini dress. She looks nothing short of amazing in it. But she's not the only fan of the dress...
PA PhotosAlessandra Ambrosio V Rosie Huntington-Whiteley V Kim Kardashian
Rosie looked her usual gorgeous self in a plunging white version of the Balmain dress and perfectly coiffed locks as she attended a Coca cola event in London in September 2014.
Rex FeaturesAlessandra Ambrosio V Rosie Huntington-Whiteley V Kim Kardashian
And seeing as Balmain is a Kim K favourite, she's worn it, too. Between that plunging neckline and her BIG blow-dry she looked seriously smoking in the tile-print version of the dress.
WINNER: We're handing this one to Kim. The ornate print really suits her and we love the fierce ankle-high sandals that really top the look off. Sorry Rosie and Alessandra, Kim wins!
Splash NewsAmal Clooney V Taylor Swift
Amal Clooney nailed the summer in the city look when she paired this pretty Oscar de la Renta floral dress with a fringed bag, oversized sunnies and yellow pumps while in Florence. But she wasn't the first star to be seen in the dress...
Rex FeaturesAmal Clooney V Taylor Swift
Rewind a few months, and Taylor Swift stepped out in New York working hers with emerald-green accessories and her signature red lip.
WINNER: Taylor and Amal are pretty much style twins now we come to think of it, but Taylor edges it on this occasion as her lippy and heels make her look the more polished of the two.
Rex FeaturesJulia Restoin Roitfeld was the star of the show in mid October when she hosted a private dinner for her website Romy and the Bunnies. She chose a luxe off-white two piece ensemble for the event, in the form of a high-waisted pencil skirt and a foldover high-neck cropped sweater. But she's not the only A-list fan of the look...
Rex FeaturesMrs Kim Kardashian West wore the exact same outfit back in August for a shopping trip in Beverly Hills, teaming the look with a pair of nude strappies.
WINNER: But there can only be one winner and we've got to hand this one to Julia. While we love Kim's styling, we can't take our eyes off Julia who really makes this look her own, not to mention the fact that the outfit is slightly more appropriate for a dinner party than a shopping trip.
Rex FeaturesSelena Gomez was snapped in this cute little Christian Dior frock just last week.
PA PhotosBut it appears that this LRD (Little Red Dress) is already a major hit in Hollywood as Pretty Little Liars star Lucy Hale was snapped in it just days later at the Teen Choice Awards.
WINNER: But there can only be one winner and we've got to hand this one to Selena Gomez who let the directional shape and plunging neckline do the talking with make-up and a fashion-forward centre-parted ponytail.
Rex FeaturesWhen Kim Kardashian stepped out in this very distinctive holey leggings and cropped top ensemble during Paris Fashion Week in early October 2014, we just knew we'd spied this statement knitwear get-up on someone else before.
IndigitalAnd lo, it was none other than Cara Delevingne who opened the Chanel A/W '14 show some six month earlier in the exact same ensemble.
WINNER: Cara takes this round, hands down. This look is just made for the catwalk. Sorry, Kim.
Rex FeaturesKate Bosworth V Ashley Tisdale
Cropped denim shorts and an oversized black Elie Tahari for DesigNation knit emblazoned with 'NYC' was enough to land Kate Bosworth at the top of our Best Dressed pile this week
Rex FeaturesKate Bosworth V Ashley Tisdale
But Kate's not only one with designs on this fab knit - Ashley Tisdale has bagged herself one as well. Pairing her look with ripped jeans and lace-up red booties, who will be crowned the winner in this battle of the knits?!
WINNER: Alas, there can only be one winner and we're giving this round to Kate Bosworth who nailed every element of her outfit. Plus, those shoes take some beating.
FlynetVanessa Hudgens V Nicole Scherzinger
Vanessa Hudgens is the queen of luxe boho street style, regularly donning a flaty ensemble as she makes her way around her home of LA. Indeed, the High School Musical alumnus was spotted in such get-up in this Somedays Lovin Lia Liar printed maxi dress.
Splash NewsVanessa Hudgens V Nicole Scherzinger
But Nicole Scherzinger was snapped in thwe very same frock in recent weeks too.
WINNER: Sorry Nicole but this round goes to Vanessa Hudgens. Despite a valiant effort and looking utterly gorgeous, we just can't get enough of Vanessa's laid-back styling.
Getty ImagesEmmy Rossum V Kelly Osbourne
Topshop's £48 hero skirt has garnered a number of fans in Hollywood - as well as around the High Streets of the UK! Emma Rossum paired the blue version with a simple black sleeveless top, cute pale blue boxy bag and killer heels.
Getty ImagesEmmy Rossum V Kelly Osbourne
Another A-List fan of this skirt though? None other than Kelly Osbourne who donned the pink version for a beauty launch in September 2014. Similarly, she paired the statement skirt with a black top and sky high heels.
WINNER: Emmy Rossum just edges it for us on this one. The simple strappy shoes and gorgeous bag are the key style elements that cinched it for her.
Rex FeaturesVictoria Beckham V Nicole Richie
Looking chic and sharp in a casual off-duty ensemble, Victoria Beckham's muted palette and jeans combo is our idea of a weekend outfit. Our favourite piece of the outfit, the wool caped sweater, has also been spotted on...
Rex FeaturesVictoria Beckham V Nicole Richie
The gorgeous Nicole Richie. She teamed the caped piece with white wide-legged trousers and an icy blue updo.
WINNER: This is a tricky one as we LOVE both these looks, but with her dark jeans, statement bag and black heels, we'd say VB just edges this one.
Getty ImagesGemma Arterton V Sophie Ellis Bextor
Gemma Arterton had us rushing to Topshop back in May 2014 after she styled up this quilted circle skirt with an open collar blouse and hot red heels.
Rex FeaturesSophie Ellis Bextor
And fast forward to September and Sophie Ellis-Bextor stepped out in the very same number. Giving a ladylike twist, she paired it with a pink shirt, red satchel and matching lip.
WINNER: Though the ladies haven't given the skirt an altogether too different look, we reckon Gemma cinches it with her more modern choice of heels.
BurberrySJP V Cara V Olivia V Rosie V Suki
We first spied this season's much-coveted Burberry monogrammed poncho adorning Cara Delevingne as she waked the runway at the Burberry show.
BurberrySJP V Cara V Olivia V Rosie V Suki
But fast-forward a few months and Olivia Palermo has been spotted rocking her personalised one out and about in New York this summer.
BurberrySJP V Cara V Olivia V Rosie V Suki
While another Burberry face, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley was spotted in hers whilst walking around Sydney over the weekend.
BurberrySJP V Cara V Olivia V Rosie V Suki
But back in Blighty, Suki Waterhouse has been spotted covering up from the rainy weather in her personalised Burberry confection, too!
Rex FeaturesSJP V Cara V Olivia V Rosie V Suki
Over in NYC, SJP was also spotted sporting the monogrammed Burberry poncho, complete with skinny grey jeans and shades.
WINNER: All five ladies have styled out their gorgeous poncho to perfection but we're kind of blown-away by Olivia Palermo's awesome "off-duty" thigh-high boot and poncho look for a casual walk in Central Park. Olivia wins!
PA PhotosSofia Vergara V Katy B
Putting her famous curves to work in this cutout detail figure-hugging Torn by Ronny Kobo dress at a bash just last week, Sofia Vergara nearly stole the show on the red carpet. But hadn't we seen this frock before?
PA PhotosSofia Vergara V Katy B
Uh, yeah we had! Some six months earlier and across the pond in London at the 2014 BRIT Awards in February. Singer Katy B had worn the very same dress with leg veil detail for her big red carpet arrival.
WINNER: So who wore it better? Well, we're handing this one to Katy as we really like how the dress has a bit of drama with the extra length, whilst the gown really shows off her red hair to perfection. Sorry, Sofia! Another time...
Rex FeaturesCate Blanchett Vs Katie Holmes
Cate Blanchett cuts a fine form in this retro-look Michael Kors shirt dress. We're big fans of her unexpected bright heel choice.
Rex FeaturesCate Blanchett Vs Katie Holmes
And a few months down the line, Katie Holmes also took a liking to the fit-and-flare design, rocking hers with quiffed hair and nude heels.
WINNER: Though Katie's simple styling is elegant, we think Cate is the clear winner as she's given the silhouette added shape with a belt, and looks all round more relaxed in it, thanks to her stylishly mismatched accessories.
IndigitalJoan Smalls Vs Kendall Jenner
Kendall totally owned it when she debuted this stunning snake-effect leather top and sheer skirton the Givenchy AW14 catwalk.
GettyJoan Smalls Vs Kendall Jenner
And fast forward a few months and fellow model Joan Smalls has slipped into it, too. Making no alternations to the original outfit - even going as far as rocking the gold bangles from the catwalk - she more than does it justice, styling the look with poker straight locks and smokey eyes.
WINNER: There's very little in this one, as the girls have worn it in almost identical fashion, though as we like seeing celebs rock catwalk looks IRL, we have to give Joan the crown, for adding a flawless finish courtesy of her makeup and cool clutch.
Rex FeaturesNaomi Campbell V Lindsay Lohan V Alesha Dixon
Kate Moss' final collection for Topshop has a huge celeb following, including - of course - Mossy's mate and fellow super Naomi Campbell. She wore this made-for-dancing fringed mini at the collection's launch party. Strappy peep-toe heels and sleek locks let the dress take centre-stage.
Rex FeaturesNaomi Campbell V Lindsay Lohan V Alesha Dixon
Next up, Alesha Dixon shimmied her way onto stage in the flapper style mini at the Britain's Got Talent semi-finals. She ramped up the glamour with bouncy waves and stilettos which picked up the bright shade of her lippy.
SplashNaomi Campbell V Lindsay Lohan V Alesha Dixon
While Lindsay Lohan also added a little glitz to her night out courtesy of the Mossy creation. Keen on a theme, she paired it with gold patent heels and a sparkling Chanel bag.
WINNER: This dress is quite the headturner, so rightly - all three women have kept the rest of their look relatively simple. But Alesha gets our vote for her flawless beauty look and for accessorising with just the right amount of bling.
Rex FeaturesKendall Jenner V Rosie Huntington-Whiteley
When we spied Kendall Jenner in this olive green Balmain creation at Paris Couture Week, we just knew we’d seen another A-Lister in a similar creation from the French fashion house…
PA PhotosKendall Jenner V Rosie Huntington-Whiteley
And lo, it was none other than Brit model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, who wore the gold, black and leopard printed version to the 2014 Met Ball in New York two months earlier.
WINNER: Interesting both girls went for centre-parted locks and cage-detail heels so there’s not much in this at the end of the day. However, Who Wore It Best? Is a fashion battle of the highest order and there can only be one winner and today, it is Kendall who comes out victorious. Whilst both girls pulled off the Roman warrior-inspired dress with aplomb, there’s something about Kendall’s more relaxed styling here that we prefer.
Rex FeaturesMary V Rita V Sienna V Jaime
Mary Charteris' elephant EKAT catsuit proved to be pretty popular throughout the festival...
Rex FeaturesMary V Rita V Sienna V Jaime
Rita Ora was snapped in the lobster-printed version - as well as mighty shiny red jacket from Replay.
Rex FeaturesMary V Rita V Sienna V Jaime
Whilst Sienna Miller wore this blue and orange version, which she teamed with a denim shirt, Wayfarers and a fedora.
Rex FeaturesMary V Rita V Sienna V Jaime
But making her the fourth person to rock one of these suits, Jaime Winstone was snapped in this version which she teamed with a metallic jumper slung around her waits and a most excellent fringed leather jacket.
WINNER: This is tough one as all four ladies have managed to pull off a difficult to wear catsuit with aplomb. So we're basing this one purely on the fact that we love a bit of fringing - Jaime wins!
Splash NewsHeidi Klum V Lisa Snowdon
Heidi Klum styles up her DvF jumpsuit with an embellished cropped leather jacket and sky high heels for maximum effect on a night out.
WennHeidi Klum V Lisa Snowdon
But a good jumpsuit can be hard to find, so we weren't surprised when Lisa Snowdon stepped out in the very same one just a couple of days later whilst out and about in her hometown of London.
WINNER: Lisa's easy-breezy styling of this printed onesie just edges it for us over Heidi Klum. Lisa's 70s-inspired specs, soft buttery bag and simple sandals scream summer style to us.
Rex FeaturesAlexa Chung V Abbey Clancy V Kate Moss
Bella Freud’s ‘1970’ sweater has a cult following and Alexa Chung was an early adopter, sporting it in super casual style front row at Simone Rocha's SS13 show back in 2012 with a her signature weathered skinnies and Chelsea boots.
Rex FeaturesAlexa Chung V Abbey Clancy V Kate Moss
Also, a way-back fan of the intarsia knit is Kate Moss. She opted for a literal approach to the '70s sweater, pairing it with a retro-look leopard print Versace coat, dark skinnies and pointed boots. A yellow clutch added a stand-out splash of colour.
Rex FeaturesAlexa Chung V Abbey Clancy V Kate Moss
Turning the slogan sweater into a summer staple, Abbey Clancy headed out and about rocking hers with super-short dark denim cut-offs and leopard print espadrilles. Oversized sunnies and a quilted Chanel chain bag added a luxe touch to the look.
WINNER: Even though summer is upon us, Mossy has us wishing for a little winter wind so we can wear a roll-neck with the same panache. Sorry Alexa and Abbey, but the super really makes a statement with her layering and choice of accessories.[/b]
Rex FeaturesLindsay Lohan V Lily Allen V Jourdan Dunn V Georgia May Jagger
Alexander Wang's Parental Advisory top has been super popular with the A-List this season - and the most recent fan of the white and mesh detail cropped top is Lindsay Lohan, who was spotted wearing one on a recent trip to London.
Rex FeaturesLindsay Lohan V Lily Allen V Jourdan Dunn V Georgia May Jagger
At the opening night of the The Glamour of Italian Fashion exhibition at the Victoria & Albert museum in London in April 2014, Lily Allen was snapped in this very cool outfit of jeans, a leather jacket and the Alexander Wang Parental Advisory mesh and jersey sweatshirt.
Rex FeaturesLindsay Lohan V Lily Allen V Jourdan Dunn V Georgia May Jagger
But just a few days prior, model Jourdan was snapped in the exact same top. This time, she paired it with a pair of leather trousers and some really rather excellent trainers.
GoRunwayLindsay Lohan V Lily Allen V Jourdan Dunn V Georgia May Jagger
But it was last year that we first laid eyes on the £835 top, as model Georgia May Jagger strutted down the catwalk in it at New York Fashion Week.
WINNER: Despite the rather eye-watering price tag, we do love a statement sweatshirt and they don't come more statement than this Alexander Wang creation. However, only one can be crowned the winner in this epic battle of Who Wore It Best? and so we'll have to eliminate little Jagger from the off as she was chosen to model it in the first place. That leaves Jourdan, Lindsay and Lily and it's a tough one as all ladies styled this sweater up rather similarly wearing dark black trousers, meaning this comes down to the shoes. With that being said, we're giving this round to Jourdan then as those trainers are just fab, fab, FAB. Jourdan wins!
PA PhotosAmber Le Bon V Cara Delevingne
When Amber Le Bon stepped out in this white beaded gown by Roberto Cavalli at the Royal Academy's Summer Exhibition Private Preview in London in June, we couldn't help but think we'd seen this little number somewhere before...
Rex FeaturesAmber Le Bon V Cara Delevingne
We had! And on Cara no less. At the de Grisogono party during the Cannes Film Festival, Cara looked positively gorgeous in this ethereal white gown.
WINNER: It's a gorgeous dress and both women look utterly show-stopping in it but for some reason, we're just edging towards Cara on this one. Maybe we're just seduced by the glamour of Cannes, still!
Rex FeaturesJamie Winstone V Zooey Deschanel
Kate Moss' range for Topshop not only garnered a number of fans who queued outside of Toshops around the country to get their hands on a piece of the collection first, but it's also got an army of A-List fans too. Enter Jamie Winstone, who wore this popular white mini to the Royal Academy's Summer Exhibition Private Preview in London in June.
Rex FeaturesJamie Winstone V Zooey Deschanel
Hold up! It only transpires that New Girl actress Zooey Deschanel has totally gone and worn it as well.
WINNER: We love Zooey but Jamie wins this round by a country mile. The floral accessories - just check out those wedges! - are nothing short of fabulous and get a load of that dreamy Louis Vuitton clutch.
PA PhotosKate Middleton V Naomi Watts
Kate Wardrobe Watch has become an unofficial national sport and testament to her influence on our fashion choices, a DvF wrap dress she wore during the royal tour of Australia in 2014 sold out in eight minutes, flat. However, the Duchess aptly chose a crochet little white dress by Aussie designer Zimmerman for another engagement Down Under, leaving her signature glossy brunette locks loose and tousled. But haven't we seen this perfect summer frock somewhere before?
Jacob's CreekKate Middleton V Naomi Watts
Of course we have! And on Hollywood royalty Naomi Watts, no less. Appearing in a Jacob's Creek ad in the very same dress, much like Kate, Aussie Naomi let the dress do the talking leaving accessories to a minimum and keeping her hair loose, lovely and fuss-free.
WINNER: This is a tough one as this gorgeous summertime confection looks practically perfect on both ladies. But y'all know how this goes... There can only be one winner in these epic fashion battles and we're giving this round to Naomi for no other reason other than that we quite fancy wearing a pretty Zimmerman dress in an Aussie vineyard.
GettyKate Middleton V Mindy Kaling
Kate's a longtime fan of British brand L.K. Bennett so it was little surprise to see the young royal in one of their summer dresses during the royal tour of Australia and New Zealand. There is nothing about this look that doesn't ooze gorgeousness, from the crisp tailoring of the dress right through to the cornflower blue accessories, Kate looks positively resplendent.
Mindy Kaling/InstagramKate Middleton V Mindy Kaling
But it transpires that funny woman Mindy Kaling actually got her hands on this delightful frock first, wearing it during the filming of her hit show, The Mindy Project. The comedienne put this pic of her in it up on Instagram alongside the jokey caption: “UHH, Miss Duchess Whoever, I WORE this dress last week! What’s next? Kate in my donut print pajama bottoms I mean c’mon.”
WINNER: Tough one. It's a beautiful dress and both women look beautiful in it but this round goes to Kate; we like the rarely-seen demi up-do which makes a sharp silhouette feel young and fresh. Kate wins!
PA PhotosWOW. WOW. WOW. Hello, Ellie Goulding! The leggy singer looked about a million trillion gazillion dollars in this simple yet-oh-so-sexy sequinned mini dress by Balmain, glossy long locks and simple sky-high heels at the Divergent premiere in El-Lay in March 2014.
Getty ImagesBut hold up! We'd seen this Balmain number before... On Blake Lively, no less. Letting the dress do the talking, much like Ellie did, Blake teamed her sequinned frock with a simple up-do and some strappy sandals to devastating effect.
WINNER: Both ladies look absolutely sensational but we reckon Blake just edges this with her slick 'do and directional heels. Blake wins!
PA PhotosKate Upton V Emma Roberts
Kate Upton was like a modern day Marilyn Monroe when she stepped out on to the red carpet in this stunning Fendi mini in April. We love the matching red lip and the nude heels, elongating her model-perfect pins.
PA PhotosKate Upton V Emma Roberts
Rewind the clock back to this year's Vanity Fair Oscars party, and Emma Roberts sported the exact same fiery mini, this time with red heels, a glitzy box clutch and dramatic make-up.
WINNER: And the winner is? Ooo, this is a tricky one. While Kate's take on the dress is seriously sexy, we are completely smitten with how Emma styled it out with her red heels and lip, not to mention the star-worthy clutch.
Getty ImagesKristen Stewart V January Jones V Bip Ling
The first thought that came to mind when we spied Mad Men star January Jones in this off-duty Chanel sweater was 'we want it'. But, then we began thinking that we had definitely seen its designer likes before...
Rex FeaturesKristen Stewart V January Jones V Bip Ling
Blogger/DJ Bip Ling wore the same Chanel sweater, complete with printed silk mini to a fashion party just last week. Proof that sweaters and starry parties do mix.
Vantage NewsKristen Stewart V January Jones V Bip Ling
K-Stew was also snapped on the streets sporting the exact same sweater. But there can only be one victor in this fashion battle.
WINNER: As much as we like January's summery wardrobe additions and Bip's high/low fashion mix, the clashing black jeans and boots, as well as the chain-strap Chanel handbag just push Kristen into the lead.
PA PhotosSienna Miller V Amanda Seyfried V Mila Kunis
The Alexander McQueen silk bustier dress has long been a hit with the A-List on the red carpet, adding an instant injection of ethereal glamour into any look.
WennSienna Miller V Amanda Seyfried V Mila Kunis
Whilst Sienna opted for tomato red at Vanity Fair Oscars party, Amanda was snapped in the same frock months before in this dreamy lilac hue.
PA PhotosSienna Miller V Amanda Seyfried V Mila Kunis
But way back when - at the 2011 SAG Awards in LA, to be precise - Mila was rocking a painterly printed version in red.
WINNER: It'a a beautiful dress and all three look beautiful in it but even three years on, Mila's still sticks out in our minds thanks to the fabulous print and her gorgeously wavy brunette locks. Mila wins!
PA PhotosJoudan Dunn V Hayden Panettiere
When Jourdan Dunn needed to pull out the big guns on the style front at a London party, she opted for this gorgeous geometric printed monochrome halter gown by Tom Ford.
PA PhotosJoudan Dunn V Hayden Panettiere
...And at the Golden Globes Awards in early 2014, Hayden Panettiere did exactly the same.
WINNER: We LOVE Hayden P and her slicked back locks look was positively awesome with this directional dress. However, we're giving this round to Jourdan whose simple styling of the dress - note how she didn't bother with a necklace - has just edged it for us, here.
PA PhotosCarey Mulligan V Victoria Beckham
We're not sure Carey Mulligan has ever put a sartorial foot wrong and this gorgeous Victoria Beckham tuxedo jacket with slashed sleeve detailing was another impeccable turn on the red carpet.
PA PhotosCarey Mulligan V Victoria Beckham
But of course the designer herself wore the very same jacket months earlier!
WINNER: VB always look great and she definitely always looks amazing in her own label but Carey takes the crown here as we love seeing the true shape of the jacket when it's buttoned up.
Getty ImagesJoanne Froggat V Laura Whitmore
The Downton girls have got some serious red carpet panache and Joanne Froggat is one of the show's off-duty style leaders thanks to her faultless turns on the red carpet. This tailored jumpsuit by The Kooples is elegant in its simplicity, whilst the the high-fashion accessories are the masters of understatement.
PA PhotosJoanne Froggat V Laura Whitmore
But when a jumpsuit is this good, you can be sure that others will get clued up pretty quickly and Laura Whitmore did just that, wearing it to the BRIT Awards this year.
WINNER: Both ladies look absolutely sublime but Laura is our winner this time, thanks to the beautifully shoulder-robed white jacket and that super dooper book clutch.
PacoficCoastNews.comVictoria Beckham V Lily Aldridge
Whilst out and about in New York, VB was snapped in another of her own designs.
Getty ImagesVictoria Beckham V Lily Aldridge
As was Victoria Secret's angel Lily Aldridge, who, on a night out wore the gorgeous white and beige pencil dress.
WINNER: Cripes. This is a tough one. Both have paired the frock with simple black courts and barely accessorised it. Eeeeekk... Hmmm... We're going to go with Victoria Beckham as the dress looks made for her - which it probably was!
PA PhotosAmber Heard V Kerry Washington
Amber Heard looked a vision in white when she chose this J.Mendel midi-length gown for a press conference in California.
PA PhotosAmber Heard V Kerry Washington
But we knew we'd seen it somewhere before and that was on Kerry Washington a couple of months earlier.
WINNER: Kerry Washington takes this round by a country mile thanks to her stylish accessories - and extra points for getting a pair of shoes that fit, too!
Rex FeaturesKaty Perry V Jourdan Dunn
The Moschino Maccy D's collection has been somewhat controversial but just days after walking for the label at their Milan Fashion Week show, the pop star donned the bag and jumper at a press event.
Getty ImagesKaty Perry V Jourdan Dunn
Styling it up completely differently though, Jourdan Dunn soon proved to be another fan of the collection.
WINNER: Jourdan. Jourdan. Jourdan. Katy Perry's head-to-toe styling is just a tad too much for our simple tastes.
PA PhotosTaylor Swift V Kate Beckinsale
Taylor Swift is a longtime fan of Julien MacDonald's gorgeous red carpet style, regularly picking his designs for her big red carpet moments. This slinky black sequinned floor-length gown ticked all the right boxes at this year's Oscars.
Rex FeaturesTaylor Swift V Kate Beckinsale
But what to do when another mega A-Lister turns up in the exact same togs to the exact same event?! Well, that's what happened to Taylor and British actress Kate Beckinsale.
WINNER: Both look absolutely divine in this silky gown but Taylor Swift wins this for us on account of her fresh styling of the dramatic dress which we reckon is down - in no small part - to Tay-Tay's new bob.
Getty ImagesAlexa Chung V Camilla Belle
Oh how we love Erdem and this dreamy floral dress was another standout piece from last season's collection. Indeed, Alexa must have been a fan as she was spotted in it first.
Getty ImagesAlexa Chung V Camilla Belle
But former child star-turned-Hollywood actress Camilla Belle also wore the frock to a dinner in LA on the very same night!
WINNER: Whilst Alexa's hair is the perfect tonic to the dress' high neckline, her shoes felt bland for such a pretty dress and so we're giving this round to Camilla Belle for her beautiful moss green strappy sandals.
PA PhotosLiberty Ross V Lady Gaga
Model Liberty Ross chose a daring cutaway gown by Versace for her turn at the Oscars this year.
Getty ImagesLiberty Ross V Lady Gaga
But it was actually Versace muse and model Lady Gaga who wore this statement gown first.
WINNER: Points go to both these ladies for pulling off this slinky dress with such aplomb but with such ornate detailing on the top half, we much prefer Liberty's simple styling of the dress with no added accessories and a slicked back 'do. Perfection!
PA PhotosJanuary Jones V Beyoncé
This is quite possibly one of our favourite ever looks from January Jones. The Mad Men actress blew the red carpet competition out of the water at a charity gala in March in this sublime striped mini - BY TOPSHOP! The hot red lipstick is the perfect finishing touch.
WENNJanuary Jones V Beyoncé
But there was much talk in the office of how we'd seen this super striped mini before and it was on pop diva extraordinaire, Beyoncé when she was on the London leg of her Mrs. Carter world tour in early March.
WINNER: This is an incredible dress and better yet, it's a High Street one too! However, there's only one Who Wore It Best? crown and this time, we reckon Jan-Jo just edged it on account of her perfect blonde bob and bright red lippy - it was the perfect tonic to the monochrome frock. Beautiful! (Soz, Bey).
Rex FeaturesMillie Mackintosh made sure she was the centre of attention at the Julien Macdonald show during London Fashion Week in early February 2014 wearing a daring embellished mesh dress courtesy of the designer himself.
Rex FeaturesBut darn it. We just knew we'd seen someone else in it - and lo and behold it was none other than Kimmy K. Just weeks after announcing her pregnancy, Kim showed off her blossoming baby bump in this daring dress at New Year's Eve 2012.
WINNER: Both ladies look pretty freakin' amazing in this lacy creation but we're handing this round ding, ding to Kim Kardashian who just nails this with the gorgeous hair, too.
PA PhotosKate Moss V David Bowie
When Kate Moss accepted an award at the BRITs 2014 on behalf of David Bowie (the whole set-up was just achingly cool in the first place) she turned up in this gorgeous vintage playsuit.
Rex FeaturesKate Moss V David Bowie
But as Kate read out his prepared speech on his behalf, it transpired that the printed playsuit was actually one Bowie's Ziggy Stardust costumes from 1972.
WINNER: Are you kidding? As if we could chose between Ziggy and Mossy!
PA PhotosSandra Bullock V Paloma Faith
At a pre-BAFTAs bash in LA, Sandra Bullock repped for the British fashion industry in this head-to-toe T-shirt and skirt look from Burberry.
PA PhotosSandra Bullock V Paloma Faith
But at the fashion house's Autumn/Winter '14 show in early February, Burberry fan Paloma Faith also wore the exact same look hot off last season's runway.
WINNER: This is an awesome and oh-so-elegant outfit in the first place so both ladies look nothing short of divine as a result. However, this is a fashion battle this round goes to Paloma - if only for teaming a forest green skirt with a gorgeous Burgundy hat.
Rex FeaturesWhen Kim Kardashian made her big fashion comeback at (where else?) Paris Fashion Week after giving birth to her first child in the summer of 2013, the reality star opted for this cutaway Givenchy creation which showed off her post-baby bod to devastating effect.
RexBut when we spotted Imogen Poots at the BAFTAs 2014, it transpired that the Brit actress was in the very same frock - albeit in red - that Kim had worn no less than 5 months earlier.
WINNER: This is difficult. Not least because both wear this dress so very, very differently. Hmm... Imogen or Kim? Imogen or Kim? Kim or Imogen? AAAHH We're going to go with our gut here and say Imogen because her unfussy styling lets the detail of the dress shine through.

…Or Sarah Jessica Parker…
PA PhotosKate Bosworth V SJP V Lady Gaga
Or even Lady Gaga because naturally the pop queen-come-fashion maverick has been spotted with the $9,000 accessory, as well. But who wore it best?
WINNER: First of all we love that each of these celebs have styled up their bags completely differently: Kate Bosworth rocked some easy Cali-cool street style, SJP wrapped up against the chilly NYC air whilst Lady G went for something entirely different in this tangerine and pink dress coat. But as always, there can only be one winner and for us, this is Lady Gaga whose named Fendi bag is perfectly set off with this (actually quite gorgeous) Fruit Salad sweety-inspired outfit and super glamazon hairdo. Gaga wins!
Xposurephotos.comCara Delevingne V Jessica Alba
We bladdy love a jazzy jumper and this little floral and polka dotted number by MinkPink is the ideal knit to breathe a breath of fresh air into dour winter wardrobes. Indeed, Cara obviously thought the same thing and went the whole hog, investing in the matching trousers as well.
Rex FeaturesCara Delevingne V Jessica Alba
But we just knew we’d seen Cara’s jumper before and lo, after delving into the recesses of our fashion minds we remembered that one Jessica Alba had worn it, too. Styling hers up in a completely different way, the Hollywood actress went for a pleated skirt and riding boots instead.
WINNER: While Jessica Alba looks fab, we love a good print and so full marks go to Cara here for rocking such a statement design head-to-toe.
Rex FeaturesLily Aldridge V Allison Williams V Atlanta De Cadenet
There’s nothing quite like a Little White Dress to make a statement in the bleak mid-winter – let alone in high summer – so all power to Lily Aldridge for rocking this little Valentino number recently with a hot red lippy and matching shoes.
Rex FeaturesLily Aldridge V Allison Williams V Atlanta De Cadenet
But looky who… GIRL stole Lily’s look! Indeed, actress Allison Williams was spotted in the very same LWD weeks later although she teamed it with an up-do and some muted black court shoes.
Getty ImagesLily Aldridge V Allison Williams V Atlanta De Cadenet
Gah! The A-List just luuuurve this frock and none other than Atlanta De Cadenet was spotted in it at Paris Fashion Week in 2013. Taking a leaf out of Lily’s book, Atlanta also teamed the little Valentino confection with strappy red heels.
WINNER: But y’all know the score where WWIB? is concerned and this isn’t a Hot Chocolate song where Everyone’s A Winner, it’s actually a high stakes fashion battle where only one can emerge victorious. Thus, our winner is Atlanta for matching not only her shoes to her lip colour like Lily, but also tying them in nicely with matchy-matchy nail polish, too. Job well done.
PacificCoastNews.comVictoria Beckham V Jennifer Lopez V Olivia Munn
It comes as no surprise that Victoria Beckham’s best ambassadress is its founder and creative director, err, Victoria Beckham. Wearing a tangerine version of one of her best-selling designs on a date night with the lovely Becks, Victoria paired her dress with some muted suede heels and a relaxed ponytail.
Getty ImagesVictoria Beckham V Jennifer Lopez V Olivia Munn
But it’s not just Victoria Beckham who is a fan of Victoria Beckham. The British label has garnered an army of A-List fans since its launch in 2008 with comedienne Olivia Munn clearly being one of them!
Rex FeaturesVictoria Beckham V Jennifer Lopez V Olivia Munn
And when J-Lo needed to up the fashion ante during her stint on American Idol, she too plumped for a Beckham dress.
WINNER: When your designing your own togs, you’re pretty much guaranteed to look good in them and while VB is oft-pictured in her own label looking uh-mazing – and this orange halterneck dress is no exception - we’re actually going to give this round to Olivia Munn who looks like a little ray of sunshine in the canary yellow version.
Saint LaurentRihanna V Chloe Moretz V Kate Moss
Want to make a sartorial splash? Then follow in Rihanna’s fashionable steps and try out a chessboard print leather jacket from French fashion house Saint Laurent on for size. Whilst the print might be a bit loud for some, Rihanna’s leathers-on-leather look is actually pretty wonderful.
Saint LaurentRihanna V Chloe Moretz V Kate Moss
But a leather jacket as super as this could never have remained a secret among the A-List for long – which is why teen fashionista Chloe Moretz has been snapped in it, too.
XposureRihanna V Chloe Moretz V Kate Moss
But the ultimate seal of sartorial approval is always whether or not supermodel-come-street style icon Kate Moss has worn it, which means that this little jacket has probably already flown off the shelves.
WINNER: Everyone looks great but c’mon… Is anyone able to top Kate Moss’ chic off-duty look, here? Answer: No. KATE WINS!
Rex FeaturesAlessandra Ambrosio V Jourdan Dunn
Nothing says va-va-voom glamour better and more loudly than a floor-length sparkly gown with a daring plunging neckline – much like this Hugo Boss number, in fact! Modelled by Alessandra Ambrosio, the Victoria Secret’s angel styles hers out with gold T-bars and a statement metallic belt.
Rex FeaturesAlessandra Ambrosio V Jourdan Dunn
Yet months earlier British model Jourdan Dunn had been spotted in the very same floor-sweeping dress.
WINNER: Ermagherd. Battle of the VS Angels has commenced and we’re calling this one straight off of the bat: Jourdan wins. Why? There’s just something about the minimal accessories and slicked back hair that oozes high-fash glamour.
Getty ImagesRita Ora V Kylie Minogue
If it’s bright and bold, you just know that Rita Ora’s going to be wearing it and this statement black and pink Moschino coat looks simply splendid on her.
FlynetRita Ora V Kylie Minogue
Styling it up slightly differently again though, Kylie Minogue proves she’s a fashion force to be reckoned with employing bold outerwear to really jazz up her off-duty jeans and boots outfit.
WINNER: This coat doesn’t need added bells and whistles to stand out, which is why we’re giving this hotly-contested round to Miss Minogue.
PA PhotosJennifer Hudson V Chloe Grace Moretz
At the annual Clive Davis pre-Grammy event in Los Angeles, Jennifer Hudson put her famous curves to work in this primary coloured stripe dress by Brit designer Christopher Kane.
PA PhotosJennifer Hudson V Chloe Grace Moretz
However, at the Teen Choice Awards a few months earlier, Carrie star Chloe Grace Moretz made a similar sartorial splash in the exact same frock. So, who wore it best?
WINNER: Hmmm. This is, as always, a tough one. On the one hand, we love Jennifer's sexy take on this quirky LBD but we're also digging Chloe's cutesy styling, too. But ho hum, someone's got to take the crown and we're giving this to Chloe... Those ankle strap peeptoes just clinch it for her.
Rex FeaturesAlexa Chung V Cara Delevingne
For the launch of her make-up range for Eyeko in New York, Alexa Chung took a little bit of Brit with her on the red carpet arriving in this spring/summer ’14 delicate lacey number by Burberry Prorsum, which she accessorised with an oversized grey marl coat.
IndigitalAlexa Chung V Cara Delevingne
But we first had our eye on this perfect summer dress when Cara Delevingne shimmied down the Burberry catwalk in it last September.
WINNER: Alexa Chung V Cara Delevingne… Are you serious? It doesn’t get tougher than this having to pitch two fashion powerhouses against each other. But, as always, there must be one winner and one winner alone; so we’re going to go with Cara. Whilst we love Alexa’s grey and pastel pairing, this is the kind of dress that can stand alone without a big heavy coat. Cara wins!
Rex FeaturesSharon Osbourne V Cheryl Cole
Thought you recognised Sharon Osbourne’s dress on last night’s The X Factor finale from somewhere? Well, you weren’t wrong…
PA PhotosSharon Osbourne V Cheryl Cole
… As none other than Cheryl Cole had been spotted in the exact same burgundy Zuhair Murad gown at last summer’s Cannes Film Festival. The X Factor judges past and present even styled the lace frock in the same way, too; both having opted for statement up-dos and some diamond baubles.
WINNER: They’re both pretty formidable judges on the show and as they both look pretty darn good, we’re going to leave this one as a tie.
Rex FeaturesPeaches Geldof V Ellie Goulding
We're big fans of Peaches Geldof's red carpet wear and this monochrome Dolce & Gabbana strapless gown that she wore to the Hunger Games: Catching Fire premiere in London, is no exception.
Rex FeaturesPeaches Geldof V Ellie Goulding
Just weeks after Peaches had been snapped in the gorgeous black and white number though, Ellie Goulding wore it to a London party.
WINNER: This is a really really tough one; both ladies look absolutely flawless and we're big fans of the dress itself with its velvet maxi skirt and bustier-style top. However, we're going to give this round to Ellie because she looks so ruddy fab in it.
David LaChapelleKim Kardashian V Carmen Electra
The annual Kardashian Khristmas Kard has become something of a tradition; not only for the family themselves but us KUWTK fans, too. However, far from the wholesome family snaps of yesteryear, the 2013 card is a high-fashion photoshoot, with Kim wearing this Saint Laurent black gown.
Rex FeaturesKim Kardashian V Carmen Electra
But when we spied Carmen Electra in the same frock a few days later, we did the fashion maths and realised that the former Baywatch star was about to do fashion battle with a reality TV queen.
WINNER: Okay, okay. So one is on the red carpet and the other in a highly-stylised photoshoot courtesy of David LaChapelle but this is Who Wore It Best and it cares for none of those niggly details. Even though both ladies look pretty incredible, we really like the drama of Kim's OTT photo. Kim wins!
PAKim Kardashian V Carine Roitfeld
Since giving birth to daughter North in the summer, Kim has really upped the ante on her style. Case in point: this absolutely drop-dead-gorgeous-would-never-need-to-buy-another-piece-of-outwear-again-if-you-had-this-in-your-possession Teddy Bear coat from Italian fashion house, MaxMara. Accessorised with black opaque tights, a simple black dress (just seen)and killer courts, we'd be tempted to venture that this is one of her best looks to date.
GettyKim Kardashian V Carine Roitfeld
But hold up; is that Vogue Paris alumnus-turned-CR Fashion Book-Editor Carine Roitfeld we spy in exactly the same coat? Yes, it is. The French fashionista was actually spotted in the MaxMara number during Fashion Week and with typical style she complemented her big cosy coat with some Maison Martin Margiela specs.
WINNER: As we know that these two are actually pals, we're beginning to wonder if Carine might have just loaned this piece to Kim. Hmmpf. That aside, there can only be one winner and we're giving this round to Carine. Even though Kim could - and probably did - stop traffic in this high fashion get-up, we just love the simple, easy-breezy yet achingly elegant styling of Carine's outfit. Nil points to Kim!
Rex FeaturesRochelle Humes v Carine Roitfeld v Lily Collins v Anna Dello Russo
The Givenchy by Riccardo Tisci Bambi jumper has been THE cult sweater of autumn/winter 2013, with waiting lists and a celebrity fan club to match. In fact SO many celebs have donned this Disney-inspired knit, we've got a four-way fashion face-off about to happen on Who Wore It Best...
Rex FeaturesRochelle Humes v Carine Roitfeld v Lily Collins v Anna Dello Russo
...in the red corner, we have Rochelle Humes, who wore hers as we would - if we were lucky enough to get our grubby little mitts on one - with leather legging, boots and an oversized handbag.
Rex FeaturesRochelle Humes v Carine Roitfeld v Lily Collins v Anna Dello Russo
...in the blue corner we have former GLAMOUR cover star Lily Collins, who rocked up to the Givenchy show in her Bambi jumper, worn as a dress, with simple heels AND matching clutch...
Rex FeaturesRochelle Humes v Carine Roitfeld v Lily Collins v Anna Dello Russo
...in the (yellow?!) corner we have Anna Dello Russo, who was also at the Givenchy show in a Bambi jumper dress - she wore hers belted over a slip dress (very S/S 14) and with some statement shoe boots...
Rex FeaturesRochelle Humes v Carine Roitfeld v Lily Collins v Anna Dello Russo
...and finally, we have the FIRST person to don the jumper on the red carpet at the Met Gala back in May - Carine Roitfeld, who wore hers as Riccardo intended - with a sheer-hemmed skirt as seen on the runway.
WINNER: Whilst we applaud Ms Roitfeld for her catwalk-ready look (and for the amazingness that was documentary Mademoiselle C), and we love Rochelle's simple styling of the Givenchy sweater, Lily Collins wins this fashion battle hands down for us. It was the unexpected wearing of the sporty sweater as mini-dress that caught our eye - and whilst we adore ADR and her bonkers style, Lily's chic sandals just edge out Anna's ankle boots in the footwear round.
PA PhotosLaura Whitmore V Fearne Cotton
When Laura Whitmore was spotted at a London awards ceremony in this Unreal Fur cream and black dip-dye-hemmed faux fur coat, it prompted a serious bout of wardrobe envy from us lot. Teaming the statement jacket with every rocker(-girl)’s staple, the ripped black skinny jean and some boots from Schuh, we must admit that we’re going to copy this look head-to-toe on our next night out. Thanks, Laura.
Rex FeaturesLaura Whitmore V Fearne Cotton
But what are the chances that our other favourite TV blonde had also been spotted in the very same jacket just six days prior to Laura wearing it? Well, apparently quite high actually. Going for a similar silhouette with skinny jeans, we loved Fearne Cotton's take on the jacket putting a cosy knit underneath, topped off with oxblood booties and a pair of super sunglasses.
WINNER: Blimey jingles. This is a tough one. We’re pretty obsessed with both of these ladies’ street style anyway so to pit them against each other just makes us feel so dang uneasy, let alone picking between them. However, this is Who Wore It Best? and there can only be one winner so we’re going to go with Fearne on this occasion as she just edges it with some super accessorising.
Rex FeaturesHelen Mirren V Rita Ora
There is little Helen Mirren can do (sartorially or otherwise) wrong in our eyes. A red carpet pro, Helen shows that age ain’t nothing but a number, regularly out-shining most of the showbiz set half her age. Indeed, at an event in October 2013 Helen proved once again that she’s a bona fide style icon, putting her famous curves to work in a floor-length red lace dress by Dolce & Gabbana.

But lo, just days after Helen stepped out in it, one Miss Rita Ora was spied in the very same gown (albeit without the under skirt) to perform at a charity gig in London.
WINNER: There’s no denying that these women both look utterly show-stopping and we like the fact that they have gone for minimal accessories, letting the gorgeous red Dolce number do the talking. However, we’re going to give this round to Helen Mirren as our jaws pretty much hit the floor when this pic of her landed on our desks.
PA PhotosVictoria Beckham V Harry Styles
Mrs. Beckham is no stranger to a designer thread or two and so it came as little surprise when we snapped the singer-turned-fashion heavyweight in Burberry’s latest print. However, it’s not just Vic who has snapped up this heart-printed top in recent weeks as we’ve spied on it another well-known face.

Yes dear readers, Harry Styles was also spotted in the same print at the world premiere of his band’s debut film, This Is Us. Looking like the urban dandy that we know him to be, Harry put his bandmates in the sartorial shade with this Burberry number. (Oooh, anyone feel a Harry Styles-Burberry campaign coming on?)

Okay, okay, so maybe it’s not entirely fair to pitch VB and Harry against the woman actually fronting the fashion house’s ad campaign this season but hey, ho. Here is Sienna Miller in that very same shirt getting cosy with her fellow Burberry model and boyfriend, Tom Sturridge.
WINNER: So who actually wore it best? Well, we’re taking Si out of the running for starters – she’s the face of the brand this season and that ain’t fair. So we’re going to give the gold star to Harry Styles this time. We’re a bit in love with his smart-casual sense of dress anyway – the man pretty much single-handedly relaunched desert boots in the last two years – but wearing his heart on his… Erm… shirt here proves there’s some real fashion gusto underneath that tall-haired pop heartthrob’s cheeky façade. Harry wins!
Rex FeaturesKaty Perry V Coco Rocha
Her new track is called Roar, so I guess it stood to reason that Katy Perry would wear a leopard-print dress to the MTV VMAs, where she performed said track live for the first time. Not one to stand in the sartorial shadows – ever – Katy Perry made sure all eyes were on her as she took to the red carpet in this dragonfly brooch embellished confection by Emanuel Ungaro, complete with a set of grillz. Yup. That happened.

Always way ahead of the curve though, Canadian model Coco Rocha wore the full-length version of the gown back in May for the annual Met Gala in New York. Styling up the outfit completely differently, Coco topped off the look with some full-fat blunt-cut bangs.
WINNER: In our humble opinion, Coca takes this round by a country mile. For starts, we much prefer the full-length design on this which highlights the exceptional detailing around the neckline. While Perry’s shoes are a knockout, the whole look complete with Blonde Ambition tour-era Madonna ponytail feels a tad dated, whereas Coco’s fresh take on smokey eyes and calf-length boots pull this busy dress together much better. PA PhotosNicole Scherzinger V Mollie King
Nicole Scherzinger chose this jumpsuit by Three Floor for the press launch of The X Factor, opting to style it up with bright red pumps from Kurt Geiger and her acres and acres of curly waves.

But look here's Mollie King, who wore the same jumpsuit a few weeks before Nicole. The Saturdays' star down-played the outfit, wearing a satin black belt and black heels with it, and carrying a gold clutch.
WINNER: We're really torn with this one - Nicole's red heels really add a flash of colour but Mollie wins this one this time for just letting the jumpsuit speak for itself. [/b]
