We take a look back at Posh 'n' Becks' life and marriage
PA PhotosEven before David Beckham met his Spice Girl wife, he was making headlines with his goal-scoring talents and classic good looks.

PA PhotosVictoria and David bought the 1930s Hertfordshire mansion Rowneybury House, otherwise known as Beckingham Palace, for £2.5m in 1999. “Camp, tacky, like a tart’s boudoir” is how Victoria described her English home, which came complete with an indoor swimming pool, Audrey Hepburn bathroom, snooker room, gym and floodlit tennis courts.
Rex FeaturesBut there’s a scary side to being a Beckham. A plot to kidnap their children was uncovered in 2002. Three men had planned to ambush Beckingham Palace and sedate Victoria with a chemical spray. The couple spent £160,000 on a bullet-proof Mercedes and paid four ex-SAS men and women £850-a-day to keep them safe.
PA PhotosIn 2003 the unofficial King and Queen of Britain were summoned to Buckingham Palace where David received an OBE for his services to sport. The footballer said it was the “best” honour he had ever received, but Posh couldn’t crack a smile.
PA PhotosCruz Beckham was born in 2005. He was the Beckhams’ third child.

LA came a-calling in 2007 and the Beckhams swapped Spanish paella for American hamburgers. David signed up to LA Galaxy - and Posh signed up to the Hollywood celebrity circuit.
PA PhotosThe Beckhams wasted no time in making friends in Celebdom - and when we say friends, we mean A-listers. Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes, Will Smith, Jada Pinkett and Kate Beckinsale could all be found hanging out with the couple around Hollywood.
WennThe Beckhams teamed up for the first time in 2009 to front a set of raunchy photos for Emporio Armani underwear. Sizzling!
WennThe Beckhams joined forces in September 2010, and created a his ‘n’ hers perfume campaign, Intimately Yours. As part of the joint business venture the couple got up close and personal in a rather raunchy video ad campaign.

While Romeo showed a stronger leaning towards his mum’s profession of fashion, modelling for Burberry’s S/S 2013 campaign with the likes of Cara Delevingne. "We had such fun shooting the campaign and I think that comes through in the images, which really reflect the upbeat spirit of the collection," said Burberry's chief creative officer Christopher Bailey.
Rex FeaturesIn May 2013, David finally hung up his football boots after 22 years, following a brief stint at Paris Saint Germain. He got a standing ovation from the crowd but we knew it wasn’t the last we’d hear of him!
Splash NewsDavid's retirement meant the family could move back to London. After selling Beckingham Palace for a whopping profit, the brood settled in a seven-bedroom, west London mansion, estimated to be worth £40m – even though it “still needs work”.
BBC/Comic ReliefCome 2014 and David headed to Peckham for a cameo role in Only Fools & Horses in aide of Sports Relief. The born-and-bred East-ender enjoyed a traditional pie and mash in a typical greasy spoon. Is there no end to this man’s talent?
