V Festival 2016: The biggest talking points
This year's V Festival was eventful to say the least. From backstage fist fights between Danny Dyer and Mark Wright's entourage, to hungover headliner Justin Bieber and show-stopping performances from Rihanna and Little Mix. Here are all the most talked about moments of V festival 2016...

After being papped clubbing with yet another female companion on Friday night, Bieber admitted to the crowd that he was “a little hungover” as he headlined V festival on Saturday. Fans were left unimpressed as the 21 year-old was accused of miming during his performance and seemed relatively distracted and lazy with his choreography throughout his set. Although he insisted he was having "the best night", it was pretty clear he'd rather have been nursing his hangover elsewhere.

Despite arriving on stage 25 minutes later than expected, Rihanna absolutely killed it at V festival. The crowd were quick to forget their disappointment in the singer's late arrival as she opened the show with her hit Stay, looking cool AF. RiRi not only performed all of our favourite songs from ANTI but treated the crowd to snippets of pretty much all of her popular hits, from Umbrella to Love The Way You Lie. And of course, the 75,000 festival goers went crazy when she played her song of the year Work. EPIC.

With an army of dancers, actual fire on the stage and an insane acapella set, Perrie, Jade, Leigh-Anne and Jesy put on a show to remember as they performed their string of hits, showing off their impeccable vocals. The girls kicked off their set with an extended version of Salute whilst flaunting their sassy choreography. In celebration of V’s 21st anniversary, they also wished the festival a Happy Birthday before continuing the show. The X-Factor champions drew their set to an end with special guest Lethal Bizzle before performing their chart-topper Black Magic.

Minutes before Sia was due on stage an announcement was made delaying her performance by 15 minutes due to the stormy weather conditions, causing an uproar of boos. Nevertheless, once everything was back on track, the singer put on a beautifully artistic set as she showed off her incredible vocals whilst performing her chart-topping hits Elastic Heart and Cheap Thrills as well as her own version of Diamonds which she wrote for Rihanna.

Mark Wright's friends were reportedly responsible for punching Danny Dyer at V Festival this weekend. After bumping into Dyer backstage on Saturday, reportedly Wright's friends got in a brawl with him and left him with a black eye to "put him back in his place" following an earlier twitter feud between the two.

Known for his alter-ego Keith Lemon, Leigh Francis stepped out with a dramatic change of hair at V festival this weekend. The comedian ditched his famous blonde locks and debuted a brunette barnet with a beard to match making him look unrecognisable as he hung out in the backstage VIP tent.

The MTV stage was the place to be at this year’s V Festival as the crowd went crazy for acts such as Sigala and Big Sean. Festival goers seemed to love the MTV stage as the audience continued to grow and was surprisingly large and lively for the tropical house legend and American rapper who both put on incredible performances. Perhaps they’ll be on the main stage next year, aye?
