The beauty products that we've tried, tested and LOVED this week

It's our job to scout the best from the rest. Here, we reveal our top picks that landed on the beauty desk over the last seven days.

A multi-tasking liner:
If you like a super-dark, dense kajal, this is the crayon for you. It's a sooty kohl, richly pigmented liner and blendable shadow in one handy stick, for dram-glam eyes. I'm a bit obsessed with smoky eyes at the moment so I've barely put this down.
Couture Kajal 3-in-1: Khol, Eyeliner & Eyeshadow, £25, <a href="http://www.yslbeauty.co.uk/"target="_new">Yslbeauty.co.uk<a>
A summery primer:
I will always go for dewy over matte foundation but in the hotter months, the shine can get a little OTT! This primer is cooling, sinks in so quickly and stops my foundation sliding off my nose without drying out my skin. Definitely a summer essential…
Stila Aqua Glow Perfecting Primer, £20, <a href="http://stila.co.uk/"target="_new">Stilacosmetics.co.uk<a>
A volumising mascara:
Continuing my smoky eye mania this new mascara is honestly the closest thing I've found to getting lash extensions. The thin tip allows you to coat every single tiny hair right to the corners, and the fibres prevent clumping - I'm in love.
Lancôme Hypnôse Volume-Á-Porter, £22.50, <a href="http://www.lancome.co.uk/_en/_gb/index.aspx"target="_new">Lancome.co.uk<a>
Dominique Temple, Senior Beauty Assistant
A chic body wash:
If you can't have a delivery of fresh flowers every morning, this is the next best thing! This luxurious gel gently cleanses whilst flooding my bathroom with gorgeous floral notes, which linger on my skin all day - dreamy!
Frederic Malle Carnal Flower Shower Gel, £45, <a href="http://www.liberty.co.uk/"target="_new">Liberty.co.uk<a>

An SPF for your face:
I just got back from holiday and this was by far the best item in my wash-bag. I didn't experience that tight, itchy feeling after a day in the sun, it didn't leave a greasy residue and not one single spot threatened to appear.
Sisley Super Soin Solaire Facial Sun Care SPF 50+, £109, <a href="http://www.sisley-paris.com/en-GB/"target="_new">Sisley.com<a>
A brow pencil:
My favourite thing about holidays is I can get away with wearing no make up. That said, I am never without my brows. This new pencil is super subtle, the perfect shade for me and kept my brows looking neat and defined without looking obviously drawn on.
Clarins Eyebrow Pencil in Light Brown, £17, <a href="http://www.clarins.co.uk/"target="_new">Clarins.com<a>
Rebecca Wright, Beauty Intern
An eye balm:
I’m always skeptical about how much of an immediate effect eye balms can have, but this proved me wrong and I love it. The cold applicator reduces puffiness immediately and the balm itself really does lighten the shade around my eyes. Bye bye, tired eyes!
[i]Elemis Pro-Radiance Illuminating Eye Balm, £34.00, <a href="http://www.houseoffraser.co.uk/"target="_new">Houseoffraser.co.uk
A face serum:
At 19, I'm not necessarily ready for anti-ageing products but I am definitely ready to prevent the damage pollution and free radicals cause at any age. This serum is an antioxidant-rich defence mechanism, which left my face so smooth I use it both morning and night.
[i]Givenchy Vax’In City Skin Solution Youth Protecting D-Tox Serum, £63.50, <a href="http://www.houseoffraser.co.uk"target="_new">Houseoffraser.co.uk

A perfect foundation:
The words 'heavy coverage' are music to my ears. I love a flawless, stay-all-day finish when it comes to foundation, so this is my idea of a dream. The satin formula is quite glowy but lasts an 8-hour workday without the need to touch up – perfect!
[i]The Too Faced Born This Way Foundation, £29.00, <a href="http://www.debenhams.com/"target="_new">Debenhams.com
