A smoothing primer:
When I first applied this silky primer I didn't realise I'd soon be stuck outside in the pouring rain for the ultimate primer test! And I'm amazed to report my foundation was intact. A few fine lines were still on show (as I'd expect) but the foundation didn't pool in them and lasted so well. I'm holding onto this one.

A dewy blush:
I generally prefer powder blush and thought this seemingly gloopy liquid might be a bit messy, but it gently tints the skin leaving a dewy glow across the cheek - definitely one to warm a wintery palour. And no tools required - bonus.

A(nother) chunky glitter:
It's no secret that now in my 30s I'm still obsessed with glitter polishes. This one has satisfyingly chunky pieces of gold glitter through it so you can build it from a light sprinkle of sparkle to a dense foil-esque cover. It might be Christmas treat but I'm all over it for Bonfire Night next week...fireworks for your nails!

A gutsy hairspray:
Now I have short hair, I rely on salt spray to texturise and hairspray to hold my otherwise flat, fine hair. But now I've tried this, I've chucked them all out - this is all I need! It's first and foremost a good old fashioned, gutsy volume spray with serious hold, especially effective at boosting through the roots. But it also gives that matte, mussed-up texture rather than the helmet-hair I expected from such a strong hairspray. Plus, it's absolutely huge so should see me through to spring...

A hair savior:
I have been on the hunt for a shampoo and conditioner that really works for my hair. My hair always needs nourishing because of how dry my extensions can be, but at the same time it gets greasy really quickly. After recently getting a blow dry where they used this on me, I had to buy it. This shampoo and conditioner deeply cleanses my hair and gets rid of any product build up – but keeps my hair clean enough that I can finally enjoy second day (and sometimes even third day) hair! It’s also sulphate-free which is great for anyone with extensions or coloured hair.

A floral fragrance:
I’m such a sucker for packaging when it comes to fragrances and this definitely doesn’t disappoint. However, not only is the bottle pretty – the scent inside is heavenly. With lily-of-the-valley, tuberose, jasmine and sandalwood as some of the main (and my favourite) notes it’s no wonder I’m spritzing this every day!

A waterproof liner:
My signature look is winged liner and it’s taken me a few years to master it. Whenever someone asks me how I create mine, I always recommend they use a pen form. This new liner is ideal for this technique, as it stays jet black until I take it off at the end of the day. My top tip is to draw a small line from the outer corner of your eye angled to the end of your eyebrows – this way the wing will always be flattering for your eye shape.

A 2-in-1 cleanser:
The spicy scent of this cleanser mixed with the tingling sensation is the perfect wake up in the morning. It lathers up nicely so that I can use it with my Clarisonic but quickly turns to a gorgeous silky texture that can be massaged into the skin. With powerful enzymes; Pineapple, Papaya and Hawaiian Green this cleanser not only clarifies my skin, it gently exfoliates it too – anything that reduces my routine in the morning has to be a bonus.
