The beauty products that we've tried, tested and LOVED this week

It's our job to scout the best from the rest. Here, we reveal our top picks that landed on the beauty desk over the last seven days.

A light scent:
This fragrance has all the fresh, clean notes of citrus with the prettiest of rose bouquets - I've fallen completely in love with the combination. All in all it's a scent I instantly felt I'd known forever but have never smelt anything like it before... That's the magic Jo spins!
Jo Loves White Rose & Lemon Leaves, £95, <a href="https://www.joloves.com/"target="_new">JoLoves.com<a>[/i]
A shimmering shadow:
I have had one of these iconic little pots in my makeup bag since I was 12, but this new collection of nudes is divine, especially this pearly off-white shade. It’s one of those colours that can highlight the brow bone, brighten the inner corner of the eyes, wash over the lid of add light to the top and bottom lash lines – a total no-brainer.
Bourjois Little Round Pot in Ingenude, £6.99, <a href="http://www.boots.com/"target="_new">Boots.com<a>
A glitter polish:
I’m been trying out all the Christmas-style polishes over the past month (I know – strange in September, but that’s how magazines work!) and this one really stood out. I like to wear it on the tips of freshly buffed nails, using nail stencils – a subtle, more grown up hit of sparkle and an easy way to work a backstage trend.
By Terry Terrybly High-Shine Smoothing Lacquer in Goutte de Mercure, £21, <a href="http://uk.spacenk.com/en-GB/women/?cm_mmc=Google+UK--F3D+-+Brand+-+Misspells--F3D+-+Brand+-+Misspells-_-space+n+k-Exact&gclid=CPXjjsmQpMgCFcKw2wodD9gBoQ"target="_new">SpaceNK.com<a>

A lengthening mascara:
I tend to curl my lashes and not bother with mascara, but since I tried this super volumizing mascara it’s become part of my daily routine. My lashes still look natural and not at all clumpy – just nicely defined and if I build it in layers, quite dramatic. It’s converted me!
Aerin Lengthening and Volumizing Mascara, £48, <a href="http://www.selfridges.com/GB/en/"target="_new">Selfridges<a>

A hydrating serum:
I am a big fan of the Skinceuticals range and have recommended this serum to all my friends, of all ages and skin types. I don’t shut up about it! It’s scentless, sinks in so quickly I can apply SPF straight over the top and throughout the year keeps my skin feeling soft, smooth and plumped up, no matter the weather.
Skinceuticals Hydrating B5 Serum, £59, <a href="http://www.blissworld.co.uk/default.aspx"target="_new">BlissWorld.co.uk<a>
A memorable scent:
I discovered this years ago and have rarely strayed – it’s definitely become my signature scent. It’s the subtle, clean and so unique - not a day goes by without someone commenting on how gorgeous it is. It’s an addiction!
Molecule 01 EDT, £66 for 100 ml, <a href="http://www.liberty.co.uk/"target="_new">Liberty<a>
Dominique Temple, Senior Beauty Assistant
A new tool:
I spotted this in the hands of A-list hairdresser, Syd Hayes backstage at Emilia Wickstead and couldn’t wait to try it. Thanks to his recommendation, blowdrying my hair has never been so easy. I have long, thick hair which usually takes 30 minutes to dry but with this dryer, I’ve got it down to 15. That’s 15 more minutes in bed!
Babyliss 3Q Hairdryer, £120, <a href="http://www.boots.com/"target="_new">Boots.com<a>
A model pout:
I love it when you can wear the exact lipstick you’ve seen your favourite faces wearing on the red carpet, it’s the next best thing to being able to wear the same dresses! L’Oreal have launched a wardrobe of pink lipsticks, featuring a shade especially blended for each of their A-list ambassadors. I have gone for Eva’s – that’s Eva Longoria - which is a beautiful peony pink - it is super sheer so I line with a pencil before to anchor it to my lips.
L’Oreal Paris Color Riche Lipstick in Eva’s Delicate Rose, £6.99, <a href="http://www.boots.com/"target="_new">Boots.com<a>

A hair saviour:
Another fashion week favourite, this multi-purpose oil nourishes my hair over time, with an instant a glossy effect with each application – it was the only styling product I took to Milan for the shows. I apply 3-4 pumps to damp hair and then blow-dry on a high temperature – with this to protect it, my hair can take it!
Toni & Guy Radiating Topical Elixir, £9.99, <a href="http://www.boots.com/"target="_new">Boots.com<a>
