The beauty products that we've tried, tested and LOVED this week

It's our job to scout the best from the rest. Here, we reveal our top picks that landed on the beauty desk over the last seven days.

A Bespoke Foundation:
I usually find myself switching between tinted moisturiser and foundation as the seasons change. But now I’m using this little gem, which I can dilute with serum (bonus: extra skin-loving support) or build up using a sponge for more coverage. It’s got a semi matte finish, but mixed with the right skincare, it can be dewy, too.
GOSH Foundation Drops in 002, £12.99, <a href="http://www.superdrug.com/"target="_new">Superdrug.com<a>
A seasonal de-frizz:
What is going on with this weather?! I’ve had the world’s worst hair WEEK, so was very pleased to discover this smoothing crème that I’m using as a leave-in conditioner. It’s so light – despite the Shea Butter content – that it keeps hair glossy yet bouncy even when up against this muggy, hot air.
Aveda Smooth Infusion Nourishing Styling Creme, £22.50, <a href="http://www.aveda.co.uk/"target="_new">Aveda.co.uk<a>
A blurring serum:
I love anything that blurs right now – pores AND fine lines – but also in as light and non-clogging, non-claggy way as possible, given the season. This milky serum doesn’t just disguise with mica (the number one blurring ingredient), it also refines over time with astringent Clary Sage and reparative Soybean.
Darphin Ideal Resource Perfecting Smoothing Serum, £59, <a href="http://www.darphin.co.uk/"target="_new">Darphin.co.uk<a>
Dominique Temple, Senior Beauty Assistant
A smart tool:
In an attempt to switch up my daytime look, I’ve started wearing eyeshadow. I’d struggled to build pigment close to my lash line because the bristles tend to be too light, making the powder slip. This brush allows me to work it right into the lash root for a seamless wash of colour.
Bobbi Brown Ultra Precise Eyeliner Brush, £22.50, <a href="http://www.bobbibrown.co.uk/"target="_new">Bobbibrown.co.uk<a>

A priming water:
This genius formula combines the benefits of priming, hydrating and setting all in one tonic. I use it to prep my skin but also as a setting spray to help keep my makeup in place- if I feel it slipping I spritz throughout the day to refresh and boost my skin.
Smashbox Photo Finish Primer Water, £20, <a href="http://www.smashbox.co.uk/"target="_new">Smashbox.co.uk<a>
A rosy balm:
This non-sticky balm is one of my old favourites, but now it’s relaunched as a handy, mess-free tube, it’s right back on my must-have list! Not only is it the key to nailing that David Koma S/S15 bare-faced chic - this soft pink hue is bang-on trend - but it smells of roses and hydrates while it tints. What could be better?
Baume de Rose Flaconnette Lip Protectant, £32.50, <a href="https://www.net-a-porter.com/"target="_new">Netaporter.com<a>
Rebecca Wright, Beauty Intern
A pretty blush:
This blush is so pretty that I almost didn’t want to use it! But once you get past the iridescent wolf pattern it leaves a pretty flush perfect for summer days. It’s the kind of shade that goes with EVERY makeup look.
Chantecaille Cheek Shade in Ella, £33, <a href="http://www.fenwick.co.uk/"target="_new">Fenwick.co.uk<a>
A gentle face wash:
I can barely function early in the morning so I always need a fast and easy cleanser, preferably one that I can use in the shower. This face wash emulsifies into a silky-smooth cream, cleansing away any excess dirt but without drying out my skin.
Guerlain Gentle Foam Wash, £37.50, <a href="http://www.debenhams.com/"target="_new">Debenhams.com<a>

A shine spray:
You know how shiny your hair looks after a salon blow dry? It can be hard to recreate at home! But this shine spray definitely helps – just a spritz gives that pro-quality finish, and no flyaways. For extra, high-wattage shine I spray it on damp hair and then blast it with cold air.
Sophia Webster, TONI&GUY Glamour Moisturising Shine, £7.49, <a href="http://www.boots.com/"target="_new">Boots.com<a>
