The Top 10 Beauty Looks From Fashion Month SS16
Designers, editors and other fashion folk are all taking a collective sigh of relief; fashion month SS16 is officially over, and it has been just as exciting as ever.
While there were an array of fantastic fashion trends displayed, we were equally as thrilled about the eclectic mix of bold, experimental and beautiful beauty looks which were debuted on the Spring Summer catwalks in New York, London, Milan and Paris.
Hairstyles and colours got brave this season, with androgynous buzz cuts and exciting pastel shades storming the runway in every city.
The makeup was just as exciting, with blue hues reigning supreme and large lashes stealing the show time after time.

Mysterious pale blue shadow shades made a debut at Chanel, and not just on the eyelids; blue was spread under the eyes and right up to the eyebrows as a sort of delicate pastel eye mask. From the amount of times we spotted the trend on the catwalk, bright blue seems to be the colour of the summer... we're calling it!

While AW15 was based around graphic eyeliner beauty-wise, SS16 is all about clumped graphic lashes. Forget separating your mascara out for a clean lash look, this summer be clumpy and proud.

The hair colours of the 2016 summer season? Pastel pinks and purples. That's right, pretty pale shades are making their way back in (did they ever leave?!) and were out in force at shows such as Gambia and Louis Vuitton. Time to reach for the (hair dye) bottle...

Large lashes appear to be up there with blue in the most popular trends of the new season. While at Louis Vuitton they were clumpy and graphic, Marni displayed super delicate and pretty long spidery lashes.

Pulled back into a high bun, pretty braided corn rows stole the show at Valentino. Try them out for summer and keep cool while doing so.

Topshop Unique stayed away from wacky lips or eyes unlike other notable brands, and chose to bring back the classic bold red lip in a big way.... and we approve.

Stripped-back beauty made an appearance at Saint Laurent this season. While makeup was bare, hair was shaved into shorter, more androgynous styles, adding a punk-rock feel to the overall look.

The blue trend was also big at Diane Von Furstenberg, where shimmering turquoise was a hit on the model's eyes. The beauty look had a very tropical feel to it overall, and is one we will totally be rocking come summertime.

Orangey/toffee shades have been huge this autumn, and for summer, the trend will continue, but this time will incorporate burnt shades of yellow. The trend looks scary, but with lots of blending and the right placement, it can look fantastic.
