We take a look at some of the famous faces the Queen has met so far during her 63 year reign...
Getty ImagesYou might not have recognized Liam Payne in this picture. That's him right there, in his Harry Potter-alike specs. The former One Direction member, and new dad, greeted the Queen and Prince Harry at the Buckingham Palace Young Leaders Awards.
Joining the likes of Mo Farah, Anita Rani and Caspar Lee, Liam took to Instagram to share the news with fans: "An absolute honour to meet the Queen today on such a fantastic occasion. Privileged to share the room with such inspirational @queensyoungleaders, hear their stories and how they are helping to rebuild and preserve a sometimes broken world".
PA PhotosEddie Redmayne was awarded an OBE for his services to drama. After meeting the Queen, the 34-year-old said the honour was "absolutely wonderful" and beyond his "wildest imagination."
PA PhotosHere he is proudly showing off his OBE. Describing his day, he said: "...the whole experience is incredibly humbling and also getting to be in Windsor Castle is breathtaking, around Christmas as well with all the decorations.
"It is something that I had never thought of and it was never in my wildest imagination," he added.
The Danish Girl star also revealed what he discussed with the Queen. "She was asking me whether I prefer film or theatre, and asked me if I enjoyed it," he said.

Sherlock star, and Hollywood favourite, Benedict Cumberbatch has been awarded a CBE by the Queen. Could HRH be a Cumberbitch? Oh, we do hope so.
The 39-year-old actor is being honoured for his work as an actor and his charitable efforts.
